WOW! I thought I'd read this season was going to be a short one, but that would bring the total to somewhere around 22 episodes, if I'm not mistaken. Good stuff!

Loved last night's episode. Especially the 3-way stuff and Ben Folds at the end.

Did anyone else think JD's brother was wearing way too much make-up?

He reminded me of the guy T-Bag got the panties from on Prison Break.

I thought it was just me or my TV. Thank you!

BDB 04-12-06 01:25 PM

mongoco 04-12-06 01:27 PM

I expect a bit more than the same ol', same ol' from this show.

I assume you are talking about the Soprano's scene (which you say wasn't realistic today but you are wrong) You do realize that most of America realizes these are steroptype's. It's still funny though. Much like Chris Rock jabbing at "crackers".

Big Boy Laroux 04-12-06 04:09 PM

yeah, there was something wrong with the makeup for ed. too white, i think.

god, keith continues to grow on me. great new character.

another great episode for this season. loved the janitor's story (I always do, though).

not that i'm complaining, but does this season seem a little more sexual to anyone else?

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I actually go to leather bars on a fairly regular basis and that "Sopranos" scene was the leather bar equivalent of a black-face shuck-n-jive routine. Somebody needs to update that particular homo-stereotype.

Do they? I fail to see evidence of this on a day-to-day basis. Besides, even if these were "recognized stereotypes," it doesn't exempt "Scrubs" from actually making those jokes funny. Not a one of the gay bombs dropped in last night's episode connected. Not a one.

boogieman03 04-12-06 04:54 PM

I laughed at the dancing sonogram.

Are you familiar with the NJ gay bar scene?

The gay baby detector joke was actually a joke on how absurd that kind of thing would be. It was a joke on the stereotype. And I also found it funny. To each their own however.

I didn't find it funny, I just rolled my eyes in my head and said 'oh brother'

PacMan2006 04-12-06 05:34 PM

^^I thought it was hilarious.

I'm not familiar with it either. I'm was just saying that you probably don't know everything about every gay bar. Just like all other parts of society, people can be light years behind other parts of the country.

Chauzer 04-12-06 10:55 PM

great episode! so many laugh out loud moments

Tom Cavanagh alway seems to be wearing a lot of makeup.
I thought it was a good episode but not as good as the last few.

The stereotyping of gays and bars on TV (and movies) is what kept me in the closet for so long. I thought everyone was like that.
Not true.

Great episode. Especially liked Elliott's role playing. Always hilarious when she says "bajingo"

Draven 04-14-06 08:25 PM

I loved Keith's resignation to the three way - starting to stretch as he went back to the bedroom had me

Lots of good moments in this one.
