I can't see any possible way in hell that Bucky can pull off a Queen song with success, so he's going home Wednesday.

Is Kellie crazy ?
That's going to suck.

Paris, Ace and Bucky should also do badly.
Very badly.

Oh, and Taylor and Ace's picks are wayyy too predictable. I won't vote in this poll until I see them, but from song choices, Paris is in trouble.

I wonder if Kelly picked that because it was the only Queen song she knew.
Spoiler:
Will she country it up? Is it even possible to? There are other songs that would better work in a county setting... "I Want to Break Free" might sound good as a country song.

And Ace going with
Spoiler:
"We Will Rock You"? The verse of that song is borderline rap. I'm shocked he didn't go for "We Are the Champions"... sure it's sort of an obvious choice and would be cruelly ironic if he got voted off. But he's so big on his falsetto yet he goes for one of the few Queen songs where it doesn't really into play? Odd.

I think Bucky made a fantastic choice.
Spoiler:
That song is very similar to a country song to begin with.

I think Kellie will do fine, because people KNOW that song, which is why Paris and McPhee will be in trouble tonight.

Bucky will escape the axe because that song is a riot.

I am hoping Taylor bring some energy again, he has been a statue of late.

I think Ace will do fine and Elliot has a chance to renergize his fan base with a great sing choice.

I'll be rooting for Bucky to stay just based on the song choice.

Same here.

... although the "Theme to Flash Gordon" would have been better.

What's a "Bohemian"?

I think Paris should have done "Don't Try Suicide", which has a jazzy phrasing to it.

Oh and bad news. Prince on AI is a no-go:

http://billboard.blogs.com/jadedinsi...for_princ.html

It seems the almighty Prince won't be making his scheduled appearance on Fox's "American Idol." WENN reports that the artist refused to meet with contestants and will likely not guest star on the show despite the urging of his record label, who thought an appearance would help sales for his new album, "3121." (That record was Prince's first career No. 1 debut.)

Apparently, Prince had been meeting with "Idol" producers but the two sides couldn't reach a consensus. Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe says, "He did not want to talk with the kids and did not have the time." Ouch...All for the better anyway..Bucky singing "When Doves Cry"?..we'll pass.

Nah, the better of the two Highlander songs was chosen... and chosen by the right person.

I hope.

Taylor's song choice is way to safe again this week, imo, where is his sizzle??
And Kellies song choice is really risky, since I believe last year when Constantine sang it, he ruled that song, and went on to star in the production of Queen.
Cant wait to hear Katharine, I think she can nail that song. I think Paris is the one in the most trouble, although cant imagine how Ace will pull off his song. Isnt it basically just a chorus song?

All I have to say is that Kellie Pickler is no Sweet Suzie McNeil.

I'm not sure what the point of putting the song selections in spoiler tags is, because it's pretty easy to figure out whose singing what just from the comments.

So do they record this part of the show earlier? Or is it live tonight? Mandisa mentioned in one of her post show interviews the song that she was going to sing, and that she was up on stage with brian may doing it.
