This episode just raised more questions than answers for me.

After all of the time they invested in the murder of Felix and Logan being blamed for it, Thumper was the guilty party all along and Veronica needed to just being involved to find the guilty party???
It just seems all too convenient the way it was resolved.

I'm not sure what they are trying to do with Beaver and his fear of physical contact.

What was wrong with Wallace and the way he was acting??? I think he needed a mayor kick in the pants last night. Way out of character for him.

BTW, I still don't like Jackie.

Makes sense to me too.

Spoiler:
Although I don't see how that could relate back to the bus crash. However, it could add an interesting twist to Beaver's real estate deal/scam. It could possibly be a way to get revenge on Woody.

Thumper is dead now. Looks like the blame of Felix's AND Thumpers death could be blamed on Weevil...

We're expected to believe that Thumper is dead. He could have been handcuffed to a urinal near the stadium. I don't think they were planning that as a gotcha, but it would be wrong to ignore it.

Actually, that's a possibility. The sequence was filmed a bit poorly to convey that Thumper was in the building. I thought they were just being cheap on special effects or expensive location/set shots.

Spoiler:
Was there hints in previous episodes for this season that there was this connection between Woody and Beaver (in regards to the abuse)? Or will this be revealed in an upcoming episode? I guess we can assume that the videotape play a part in it too?

30 posts and only one person mentioned the Shocker reference, and no one mentioned the Dirty Sanchez reference? I thought I was on DVDTalk, but I must have wandered into some alternate reality instead.

Very good episode

I don't think she's really turned around, she's just trying hard to not be herself. She even said as much. Not having any friends was probably getting old.

Spoiler:
Dick dated his daughter Gia for a while and he and Beaver snuck into Woody's house when Gia had a slumber party.

I loved the scout's honor/shocker gag. The dirty Sanchez was a bit forced, but funny.

EDIT to add:
Spoiler:
Besides the other freaky Goodman family stuff from that episode, I also remembered that Veronica was there to get a handwriting sample from Gia's little brother because the Goodman's were among Meg's clients. Another connection to the bus.

I meant to say something about the Dirty Sanchez but forgot all about it. Nice work.

Excellent episode, definitely in the top three of the season.

I'm so glad Weevil was back, he's my second favourite character (after Logan) and it sucks that he hasn't been in a lot of the episodes.

Logan was just totally on tonight. He was cracking jokes left, right and centre and the actor nailed everything. Just brilliant. And I loved that he was going to fire Lamb and in the end stole his parking spot. Hilarious.

Woody feeling Logan up was, well I understand it (Logan = ) but, dude, way to be creepy.

Sucks about Cassidy and Mac, I hope it's not totally over for them. Maybe V helps Mac figure out wtf is wrong with him and helps him?

That last scene with Weevil in confession and when it ended had the creepy children laughing was great. When this show is good, it's fucking fantastic.

I love this show but man, do I feel lost sometimes.

The Guttenberg groping of Logan was out of the blue, so chances are, he is a serial molester. Beaver was probably the one who made the video, and probably has video of Guttenberg molesting other kids or something. Very odd.

The whole blowing Thumper up was a horrible set of scenes. So we are supposed to think that he was in the stadium? I didn't for a minute. I would be shocked if he was in there, but in a way, I hope he was. If not in the stadium, then it seemed kind of juvenile to just chain him up in a bathroom and stick a cloth in his mouth. This is the workings of a big bad gang? Sounds like high school hazing.

I never thought of that. Hmmm.

Getting blown up/crushed by the debris sounds a little more serious to me than that. I thought it was chilling the way they just handcuffed him down there and left him to die.

I'm pretty much 100% convinced Thumper didn't kill Felix. He never admitted it, and when Weevil accused him, he told him it was an "interesting theory". There's more in store for this storyline I think.

I watched last night. I was like, uhhh, they just blew up the stadium with him in it? Didnt see that coming.
Poor Beav (aka the Flash).

I like Logan's line...follow the bouncing ball...Not my Problem. He did nail all his lines!
Enjoyed Veronica's and Mac's scene talking about the Beav.

Anyone notice that Shark Field magically turned into Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium for the implosion? I thought that was kinda funny since I watched that happen about 5 years ago and a TV show if just finally using that footage for something.

If he was in the stadium, yes, I agree with you. I made my comment based on the assumption that he was not in the stadium.

When Weevil and Veronica are talking near the beginning Veronica responds to one of his comments by saying "Shocker!" and makes the 3 fingered boyscout salute. Weevil reaches for her hand and says "I think that's scouts honor. Your fingers are more like this..." but she shakes his hand off before he shows her.

Later on as they are leaving the sheriff's office Veronica is trying to keep Weevil from going vigilante and says "Not just yet Dirty Harry." To which Weevil replies "In case you haven't noticed I ain't no mick cop." and Veronica replies "OK, Dirty Sanchez?"

Why would the Fitzpatrick's tie his bike up underneath the stadium to be crushed, but then dump him in a bathroom in a completely unrelated area? Earlier in the season they had no problem attempting to hurt/rape/whatever Veronica after she got lippy with them, so I don't think they are just going to leave a gang member who (although framed) tried to short them on a deal and then threatened to go public with whatever info he has on the murder/bus tied up in a random restroom somewhere. I guess it's possible, but highly unlikely.

When the explosions went off he heard them, so presumably he was in the stadium. Add to that the fact that he knows something about the Fitz's, so they wouldn't just leave him in some random bathroom somewhere to be found and then blab about what he knows.

Thanks.

I remember Veronica investigating the Goodman family during the Meg's sister abuse case but I forget about Dick dating Gia and sneaking into Woody's house with Beaver.

I got the feeling that he was not chained up in the stadium......but that could have just been really bad filming/effects/editing.
In the last shot of Thumper in the bathroom, there was no idication that there were charges being set off anywhere near him.... barely anything audible in the bathroom and no obvious signs of....well.....anything.....

so it either was a poorly excuted scene, or it was a different place. something just didn't feel right about that scene to me.
