Anyone else have NBCHD (Quantum Leap in HD?)?
I was watching this station last night while I ate and they were showing Dragonheart. I just found out about this station and I see that its HD, anamorphic widescreen and commercial free for movies! Dragon looked awesome and I was glued to the TV.
Now today I notice that they show Quantum Leap and it looks amazing! I have this damn show on DVD and it dont look half as good. How can that be? Also, it appears as widescreen and the image doesnt look stretched or anything. Do they crop the image or something to show it like this? It just pisses me off that the TV version is HD and widescreen whereas the Universal DVDs are pretty damn shitty. What up?

Yeah. Universal HD shows random programming from the NBC/Universal library like Dragonheart and Quantum Leap -- NBC-HD is used to refer to local affiliates carrying NBC programming in high-definition.
