Scrubs Season 5 now on iTunes
iTunes 'first' with NBC 'Scrubs'
Apple's iTunes again helping lead the online video industry, by becoming the exclusive distributor of NBC's primetime "Scrubs" comedy. While other television shows have been made available via iTunes, the current deal represents a "first" in inter-network partnerships to deliver online content, according to Reuters: "While TV series for network broadcast are routinely produced by and licensed from studios of competing media companies, the 'Scrubs' deal marks the first such partnership for a prime-time program offered via the Internet for commercial download, NBC and ABC said on Wednesday.
