I'm probably missing something. But I don't get how John Locke's father is Anthony Cooper? Was this explained earlier?

Nevermind. He was adopted, duh.

I have a feeling that "Henry" is gonna tell everyone that he is gay and that he told them it was his wife because he didn't want to persacuted even more. Maybe that's why he wanted Locke to back him up 100%. As for not using his real name, i have no real idea, but maybe his real name is Ethan and he thought they would get pissed either way it was a stupid move.

Henry said when he pushed the button, nothing. Could that have been the signal for the food? Maybe the doors close when a food drop is imminent, to keep the people busy running their maze?

I thought the ending was great. I was almost on the verge of believing Henry's story as I also believe Locke was.

Great story. Best one in a long time.

interestingly that is the zipcode for wayzta, MN (although a walnut ridge rd doesn't exist according to mapquest). i wonder how long the producers searched to find a zipcode that added up to 23.

I don't think that door led to the button.

I'm under the assumption that not inputting the numbers is what causes the food drop.

tonights episode was okay not as good as the preview made it out to be. Lockes story I didnt care for. I really liked the ending again. I didnt care for any of the Dharma stuff this episode I thought the black lights and the writing on the door wasnt very intresting. stuff like that makes this show feel different like a different show almost cheesy.

Now I am wishing the writers did something else with the hatch. Doesnt feel like the same show when so much Dharma stuff.

Intersting. It looks like the picture on the door is a map of the whole island, with the other hatches in red. The island must be shaped like an octigon, you can see streams and other features in light blueand "swan" is at the bottom of the map. Also it looks like the other hatches all have a hallway that is blocked off and they all lead to the center of the island. The ones that are drawn with dashes might not have been explored by who drew the picture. I can't tell but I think the red bubble says "I AM HERE."

Isn't the simplest explanation that the doors drop because they're supposed to keep the two dharma subjects inside the hatch and out of the way while the food gets dropped?

Interesting that the center has a "?" because episode 21 is titled:

Spoiler:
adding some space so as not to easily give it away...."?"

But who's to say they would even be in there at the time?

The fact that the dharma subjects were supposed to be in quarantine at the time anyway plus it took place during a time when the counter was getting close to zero.

Good point about the quarantine, i had forgotten about that. As far as the timer being close to going off, that only accounts for 1 of the 2 hatch occupants, the other one could still be off doing his own thing.

I like how they had to make the real Henry Gale black to make it blatantly obvious the one held in captivity isn't really Henry Gale.

I know that isn't your image, but the square root of 69 is not 8. It should probably be 64 to make it work out all nice.

I'm glad someone too picked up the "Nadia" bit with the woman Locked helped out with. And there was another moment that reminded me of last season. It was the safety deposit scene with Locke, it quickly reminded me of the bank scene with Kate. Don't know if it's related, but it did remind me of it.

So what were the five events? I can only guess at: 1)real Henry Gale, 2) party raver, neon map seen by black light map, 3) food parachutes, 4)the Phuket and Talahasse speech, and 5) future story concerning the whereabouts of the $200,000

That's my guess as well. The "noise" out of the speakers was somebody warning about the food drop.

I like that they finally caught an other, but knowing the way this show works they're not going be asking the right questions. They will avoid all the important questions and then someone will shoot him or he will escape.

Crazy thought

We now know that Lockes father is also a con man. Could he possibly be Sawyer's dad as well and he did not die-that was a con as well?
