Ok..so everyone was off tonight. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Gospel, I love Mandisa, and I liked her performance. Paris was second, and Chris third. God it'd be a blessing if Kellie was kicked off tomorrow.

Man, tonight completely suck. Mandisa is screaming who knows what. Lisa fucked Kelly's song. Katharine's version of A Voice Within suck. Chris is yelling. No idea what Bucky is singing. Ace is gay. Paris suck as always. Kellie is a dumb blonde. Taylor and Elliott did OK tonight though.

Wow, who would have thought that the Stevie Wonder night was actually better than this? Tonight was PAINFUL!!

I'm picking Taylor as the performance of the night. I agree with Paula (first time ever) that it was nice to see him just stand behind the microphone and sing. I thought it was good. I thought Bucky was decent too. I thought it was a good song for him.

I though Katharine was horrible. I thought they were gonna rip her. I guess she cant to any wrong.

Paris was a joke. Simon was sooo right on with her.

I like Elliot. At least it had some energy. He cant help it if the band sucked.

Lisa was horrible, and so was Mandisa.. Mandisa actually talked her song, and screamed the rest. Lisa was shocked to get such bad judges comments.

Kellie should be kicked off for worse song choice ever. But at least she looked better. She didnt wear the tarantulas tonight so her eyes looked normal.

I think the judges are catching on to Chris. He better come up with something more original than being Creed/Train/fuel wanna be. If he does Hoobastank next I'm gonna scream.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Ray LaMontagne in his early 30s if not late 20s? I hardly see how he fits the mold for a 29 year old Taylor to be "showing the young kids how it is done" with his influences.

Taylor was the only one I could stomach tonight. I didn't care for the performance, but I am glad he at least showed his vocal range. I was starting to question whether he could really sing.

I watched part of season 2 and I started watching this season when they got down to the final 24 or whatever and I have to say tonight is the perfect reminder why I never watch this show. Utter crap. It has always annoyed me that truly great musicians would do horrible in this show, and for the most part I have been able to overlook that, but the praise Elliot received for that last performance sealed it for me. I have to agree with Simon that the arrangement was terrible, although I bass and the drum section were nice and I think it could have worked, but it just sounded like the band and Elliot spent no time practicing it. He forgot the words, struggled to get the lyrics and tempo of the song to meet the arrangement and then he gets praised for making it his own all while he dresses and attempts to dance like Gavin DeGraw does in the video... Give me a break...

Stick a fork in me because I think I am done. I was actually enjoying this season also.

Tonight was one of the worst overall - according to my dog who couldn't even stay on the couch snoozing through it. Poor guy had to go down the hallway to snooze in the kitchen.

First, "what's a bucket?"...sorry, too easy a joke but had to do it. I'm disappointed Mandisa didn't do "My Humps" ("Milkshake" would have been another good choice though as someone else suggested) and wasn't as impressed with Elliott as I usually am.

But I did pick up the phone and vote for Taylor (and I never vote). I've liked him all along - and he got me to squee like a fangirl to hear the name Ray Lamontagne on network television - that was what got me to pick up the phone.

I agree with most that Lisa or Bucky will go. I hate Bucky more for personal reasons...but Lisa has been unwilling to take the criticism from judges and build on it so I think her time has come.

I am also using this for the first time tonight. I set it to keep 8 Idols safe, but so far it has just called Mandisa's number 57 times.

Anyone know how that works? Why is it not calling the other numbers? I like Mandisa and all but I was hoping to spread the love.

I did like Bucky's I Love the '90's Cowboy act if like means really, really hate. There's zero reason for him to be in this competition. Katharine was a little blah, good thing she has that phrasing...

I'm getting pretty sick of Paris Bennett too, she's like the roadshow version of Fantasia, plus no 17 year old should "carry on" like that, it's not right...Not right at all LOL.

Horrible. Just horrible all around. If this was the first time I tuned into this show, I would probably never tune in again. Randy needs tro quit with the sucking of the teeth thing. He did that with almost every singer tonight.

Oh, and after tonight's multiple backside shots of Mandisa, I'm waiting for Paula to tell Mandisa, "You can sing your butts off."
