Yeah... this first half hour has done well in demonstrating why The Shield moved to the top of my "must see" list. I've been forgiving of all the abso-fucking-lutely retarded plot points in the last several seasons, but this is just pure ignorance. Torturing a rather high ranking government employee based solely on the say-so of a criminal?

I missed the first fifteen (caught when Audrey admitted to sleeping with someone, who I guess was Cummings). Anyone with a recap?

Pretty much what you guessed. Chloe found out that Audrey and Cummings shared a room in an out of the way hotel. Terrorists lured 2 cops into an ambush and killed them, now they have police uniforms and a car for a police escort, which helps them get around the curfew.

Thanks.

Hopefully the "fake cops" sideplot doesn't drag on for too long, maybe long enough to finally kill off Wayne Palmer. Now if only they could hunt down that annoying twit Keith we will be all set.

It's a power maneuver. She's more about getting the power taken away from Jack and CTU, and less about if she is right or wrong about it.

Of course, I think she
Spoiler:
has something on the Secretary of Defense, that's why she's not scared to go after Audrey.

Then again, I don't fully buy the show at all times, I just enjoy it for what it is.

Oh, I have a new rule for the drinking game:

Every time you hear the revelation noise (it sounds like a machine-sounding whistling wind, and it's usually puncuated with an orchestra hit or a medium-pitched musical tone), take a drink.

Chloe's look at the other chick when she complained about Buchanon was hilarious.

Please don't kill Aaron. He's one of the only semi-originals we got left.

Best laugh of the night: When Edgar's replacement, Sherry (lodged a sexual harrassment lawsuit against that HLS stooge in the past), gets all verklampt when Buchanan's hand barely brushes across her arm/shoulder and gets visibly upset about it, and then you see Chloe's reaction to it all.

Christ, when Chloe shot that other guy down, I thought "great, they're not going to start a really bad subplot."

Guess I was wrong. Just what we need to distract people in CTU, a crazy bitch making sexual harassment accusations.

C'mon Jack. You can do it.

By the way, anyone want to do an over/under for how long Curtis lasts?

Wow, for all the stuff in this episode, the last five minutes of action made up for it.

Jack can't die, nor can he ever be incapacitated for more than 5-10 minutes, so all cliffhangers involving his safety seem pretty weak nowadays.

Good episode though, except for Sexual Harrassment girl, whom I now dub Cougar II.

I can't decide whether this subplot is eye-rolling or groan-inducing.

Next week:
Spoiler:
Oh gee, she was the other mole. What a surprise. I'm so amazed that by revelation. Of course, it could be a preview McGuffin.

I hope they don't waste a lot of time on the sexual harassment bitch. That'll be just annoying.

The Audrey torture scene was too short.

Last few minutes were just intense!
