No argument from me about Kevin being kicked out.

Because I realize that not everyone dies when they have to hear Ace sing or Pickler talk, I thought the bottom 3 was pretty reasonable. It was Kevin's best night, but that's nothing to be too terribly proud of and it was about time for him to go. He went out with class though. I wish him the best. I didn't hate him - I just didn't want to hear him sing any further.
Oh, and Barry was total class and I just couldn't love him more. He has been my not remotely guilty pleasure for as long as I remember, but the love is now stronger than ever. Love the Barry.

Very pleased with the bottom 3, and I hope paris is in the bottom 3 last week, she's really lost all momentum for me.

yep yep. Gideon is at last redeemed by the death of Covais. I couldn't believe he made bottom 3, and could NOT believe he got booted.
Lisa is Mickey Mouse Club (not Christina or Britney either). Bucky is walking dead. Pickler is fake as hell, but America is dumb as hell too, so there you go. Taylor sucked last night. His song choice was terrible.
Top 3 for all weeks: Mandisa, Chris, Katherine
Winner: Chris
Rest in order of getting booted: Bucky, Lisa, Elliot (probably, although I like him), Ace, Paris, Pickler (although I hate her) and Taylor.
You know, I think Pickler and Taylor probably share fans. They're both presenting personas as shallow as the kiddie pool....

Dialidol got two of the bottom three right again and so did my son's informal telephone poll. The odd thing is that the one common factor in the two polls was that Elliott was dead last by a mile in both yet he was safe. Like last week Dialidol was two for three but the one going home wasn't in their bottom three. One thing is consistent every week on Dialidol -Taylor and Kellie are always the top two. Sorry Pickler haters, she's apparently going to stay a while.
And, yes, there is a God. Kevin's gone!!!!

As for Kellie, it's strange sometimes how one person leaving the show reallocates the votes on this show. It's hard to say who will get Kevin's votes now, but I'm pretty sure it won't be Pickler.
And there's something strange about the dialidol tests and the actual results. I've never really believed that America ALWAYS picks the person going home (or the winner), and although dialidol is not gospel, it does reinforce that belief. This is why it should be like Rockstar - America's votes determine the bottom three, the judges give one person a pass, and the other two sing-off, majority rules. If you want to make it better, through to the top six, if a person is in the bottom three three times, they are automatically cut from the competition.

I just heard on Opie and Anthony that the band Live did a version of "Walk the Line" a few years ago and Chris's version he sang Tuesday night was pretty much the EXACT same version.

Really? Hadn't heard that.
(I guess this is what happens when these threads get to 9 pages long.)

Damn, I wanted him to go for so long, but now I would have liked to see Lisa and Bucky go before him. As much as Kevin sucked, at least he was entertaining. Those other 2 are just as bad as Kevin, and have no entertainment factor what so ever.

Did Barry Manilow pull away from Bobby Bennett's hug as the show ended?

As for Kellie, I've always thought that she wasn't really faking but honestly, the "ballsy" comment completely flipped it for me. That was a total line. Feh.

DANGIT! My "Phantom Edit" of the show is to watch the pre-performance, the performance, FF thru Randy and Paula, and FF thru Ryan til the next pre-performance clip. So I missed this. (and have since deleted) May have ta rethink my fast-forwarding.Could the LIVE version of WTL have just not been on any 'approved" list so they couldn't mention it?
Love 50's music but didn't like the choices this week. Hope the next few themes are better.
Later Kevin. Wonder who the 'worst" voters will champion now: Pickler or Bucky?
