Does Comcast "Local Edition" (CNN HN) piss anyone else off?

If there is nothing on to watch or I am doing something I like to turn on the Headline News just as some background noise. And I swear everytime these Comcast Local Edition things come on I have to fight the urge to rip my arm off and beat my TV with it. The pieces of crap are never newsworthy, they are just about local junk. Some fair or something equally inane. And they always happen at the end of the half hour when the entertainment stuff comes up. I feel like changing my cable just to get rid of this crap. *rant over*

(Sorry if it is in bad tasted using piss in the topic)

No argument from me. I wish they would dump it! Its one of the primary reasons I don't watch that channel anymore.

Oh it is, but I don't watch any of the "shows" on there. Just the basic news cycles they have in the off hours.

I haven't watched CNNHN since they dumped the familiar format (e.g. sports always at 20 and 50 on the hour). Plus the channel itself is an eyesore - like Bloomberg.

I wasn't emphasizing the local in the second part as much as the literal use of the word junk.

Which does remind me: when you watch CNN Headline News on DirecTV or Dish Network do they cut in?

There's very little about Comcast that doesn't piss me off.
