Not so fast. Jon Stewart's performance has been leaked online and you'd be surprised how funny and yet touching his long extemporaneous discussion of his vagina was.

I don't even know if those results are legitimate

I really don't care so much, but I think that reasoning is flawed.

It's a television program. Many people don't even watch to see who wins, they just watch for the spectacle. It is always one of the highest rated TV programs of the year. It traditionally receives Emmy awards (or at least nominations) in its category, something that sports events don't get. Plus, every other awards show has had a thread here. And the Super Bowl had a thread here, even if it was just for the commercials.

Did you complain about every other awards show thread that was here? You know, you don't have to post here if you don't want to. You can always start a thread in the Movies forum.

And I do think I have seen a thread in the TV forum for movies shown on TV. I'm not saying it's common, but I've seen it happen. I know for sure there was a thread for the first commercial on TV for when King Kong came out. Do you think that should have been moved as well?

sjrab16 03-05-06 04:54 PM

If it was in the movies forum, could we then talk about the E! preshow coverage, or would we need a seperate thread in the tv forum to talk about it?

clckworang 03-05-06 05:06 PM

Now that's a good question. Can we get a moderator over here? :sarcasm:

I hope it's ok that we are discussing vaginas in the tv forum and not the mature forum.

Silverman did a bit where she said, "My boyfriend and I went to see Brokeback Mountain and he had to close his eyes during the gay sex scenes. He's not a homophobe, that's just the only way that he can

I think it has the momentum and will indeed be the winner. Not what I want to win (Munich), but what I am betting on.
