I agree. It is on his resume, and probably why Trump hired him. Trump played the Mensa card and Tarik only responded to it. Do agree, it is probably going to work against him, and has far as that goes, he scores really low in the creativity department!

Heat 02-28-06 04:55 PM

Tarik was bragging about it when they were standing by the plane at the beginning of the show.

As for Lenny, he seems sharp. Note that he told Sunny to just be quiet in the boardroom, to not say anything and let him do the talking. Of course she doesn't listen to him and as a result gets fired. Though I think Lenny knew that Tariq was vulnerable and wanted Tariq to be fired instead of Sunny.

Shitty show. I saw parts and damn did it suck. Havent all these people already been on the show? No variety or nothing.

Im glad Ill be tuning out.

He reminded me of evil doctor Will from Big Brother:

Lenny reminds me of that russian comic Yackoff Schmirnoff who did a few episodes of Night Court in the 80's

I thaught the show was pretty good overall and there were a few cute girls the petite blonde was nice also Charmaine is very exotic looking

I think Brent is a car wreck waiting to happen. He reminds me of Marcus from last year

PS What is Mensa??

Yep! I was thinking, here we go - Picking teams. The fat, funny-looking guy is gonna get picked last. Sure enough, that discriminatory fact came to pass. Then the guy started acting like a loon. I still hold that in this society, discrimination against people who don't look pretty is the last accepted form of prejudice, but it didn't help that he went on to act like he did.

As for MENSA - Check it out

the fun part is watching Donald and his minions tear the egos apart

I really enjoyed the boardroom, even though everything leading up to it was a snooze. Tarek made the mistake of blaming Lenny when just blaming Summer was enough. And then he made the BIGGER mistake of taking in the kid. It seems like he's bought into his own hype and was chortling while thinking, "If I bring in three people, there's even less of a chance of getting my ass fired! MUAHAHA!"

I really loved how Lenny told Summer to keep her trap closed before the boardroom, and both he and the kid were speaking over everyone trying to get Summer to shut up. And then his, "Not for long!" remark about Tarek's stay on the show as they left was hilarious. I hope he doesn't get fired by the second episode.

I think that Russian dude totally rules! Being in bathrobes in Times Square was pathetic! They must be keeping Brent on for comic value since he would hire any of the ones he fired over Brent on any given day. Who looks like the early favorite? Oh, and how gorgeous is Ivanka?

maingon 03-07-06 09:26 AM

I think this shows better then Survivor, Survivor is pretty crappy this season.

Jadzia 03-07-06 09:33 AM

I guess not many people are watching this season; since there was no new thread for this episode.

Does anyone know which season this is? I could change the thread title to reflect this is for the season.

Trump was on the View yesterday with the stunning Ivanka. He said that if she wasn't his daughter, he would be dating her. Ew!

taa455 03-07-06 09:43 AM

I happened to watch last night. Pepi was a terrible leader. He didn't focus or inspire the team. Everyone ganging up on the big guy was indeed a lame, copout attempt to oust a scapegoat. The woman who was crying harrassment had me -rolleyes- for the entire episode.

CPA-ESQ. 03-07-06 09:48 AM

I still watch this show. I felt bad for the big guy, but tend to think that this show puts in these "distractions" for the first couple of episodes (1) to keep people watching (2) to see how people handle them selves in these though situations.

I think this show is up against 24 which may be killing it.

magiccmom 03-07-06 09:49 AM

This is the 5th season...
Bill, Kelly, Kendra and Randall were all the hires on previous seasons...

DRG 03-07-06 09:53 AM

The ads were trying to play up both Brent and Lenny as big distractions, but I actually thought Lenny was simply trying to get things done despite having a shaky project manager. He wasn't so much disruptive as he was trying to make the PM do something.

I don't know. A little too much Donald in her face and expressions. Wears hot shoes though....wait that didn't belong in this forum.

I agree..When the young PM was trying to get them to go back to the suite, he stood firm and was adamant about getting everyone down to the location to start the task. He simplified the task...get the most text messages..period. To me, he is the voice of reason...hope he doesn't self-destruct.

pdutta2000 03-07-06 10:28 AM

Last night was the first show of this season that I've watched and I figured Donald would fire every single member of Team Synergy. Is there a competant person amongst them?

al_bundy 03-07-06 11:40 AM

i think brent's a good guy, but he is going to get fired because of his personality. He is probably good at doing backroom legal research.

Binger 03-07-06 05:57 PM

Personally, I had a smile on my face when Trump fired the other two. Brent may be mostly useless, but he was disrespected by his team and he confronted them about the situation and they didn't like it. I felt sorry for the guy, the team blamed him for thier failure but he was the only one doing something (however embarassing) to try to bring a win for the team. I would never hire the guy, but the distraction was not him, it was the team going out of their way to make him a problem.

Brent_MN 03-07-06 09:41 PM

Binger, you hit it right on.
