From TVGuide.com

BREAKING NEWS: Sources confirm that UPN is in talks to acquire CBS' Love Monkey! Hooray! I'll (hopefully) have more on this in Friday's Ausiello Report.

UPN? For a summer run-off of the un-aired eps?
Or CW, for a next season?

Someone please tell me this is a bad joke. 26 different versions of Law & Order, stupid reality shows, and decent shows like "Love Monkey" get cancelled. I know life isn't fair...but jeez...at least give it a fighting chance!

And UPN is becoming CW. Maybe it'll be one of their new shows next fall?

I thought the (3 whole episodes) series was done well and was getting into it. I'd continue watching if it's given a second chance.

Glad to hear this show may have life in it somewhere after all.

UPN May Want "Love Monkey"
Whenever a show gets cancelled, fans clamor at the possibility of it getting picked up by another network. Hell, I am still holding out hopes for "Arrested Development."

A lot of you seemed to think that "Love Monkey" got pulled before its prime. Apparently, UPN thinks so too. There weren't many details, but Ask Ausiello over at TV Guide says that there's a rumor that the show will be picked up by the tiny network.

Don't get your hopes too high though. Remember: As of fall, UPN will be no more. Whether they will be buying out episodes already made or plan to pick it up over at the CW, things look promising for the Tom Cavanagh/Jason Priestly drama.

Looks like it is officially dead...sort of (from eonline.com):

From drewhere: When does Tom Cavanaugh's Scrubs episode air? And more importantly--any hope for Love Monkey?
His Scrubs episode will air very soon. And actually, some sad news for Love Monkey. Despite what I told you earlier about the show being in talks with the CW, it looks like it really is over. At least, the castmembers seem to be released and moving on to other projects. I know Tom himself has been up for a new pilot, and Larenz Tate (who played Monkey's Shooter and who also starred in Crash) will star with Joe Pantoliano in Waterfront, a CBS drama that focuses on a charismatic but ethically challenged mayor of Providence, R.I.
