I'm suprised there hasn't been a confirmed translation of the hieroglyphics in this thread yet. I like the one posted a few pages ago... "To cause, to die"/"To Kill" ...but it seems too obvious.

Has there been any other speculation? I have yet to look on the official Lost forums, you'd think they have it before the episode even ended. :lol:

I posted that a couple pages ago, got it from someone on the ABC board - but I've since heard that it may have been a fake (why someone would go and fake something like that, I've no clue). The writers, I think, have said they DO translate into something.

I'm sure they do. That translation makes sense... and also puts another cool spin on what really happens when the time runs out. Probably a safe bet.
