Batman Beyond Movie - Return of the Joker

I saw this over the weekend (it's currently playing on Cinemax or one of those channels).
This movie was fantastic. All the tie-ins to the Batman TAS from the 90's were there, including consistent voice acting.
I didn't watch too many episodes of Batman Beyond. I may have to now, though.
Does anyone know if Boomerang is going to run the sereis? I've been catching up on the Superman episodes I missed and re-watching some of the Batman ones, too. It would be really nice if they start into Batman Beyond, especially if the show was like the movie. The couple epsides I have seen didn't seem this good.

If you liked the cut shown on Cinemax and HBO, you are probably going to like even better the unrated edition, which is more darker and has a better resolution to the Robin-Joker situation. You can also catch the episodes of Batman Beyond on DVD next month since the first season is going to be released then.

You should pick up the series. While it had it's weaknesses (I still never really cared for some of the characters), it had a lot of strengths. In fact, there was a time that Batman Beyond was going to be the next live action Batman movie before Batman Begins rolled around, until Warner Brothers unexpectedly cancelled the series and all future plans for the franchise. But the series is awesome stuff, and there is also a tie in episode in Justice League, also coming out in season sets.

I'm a big JL fan, so I've seen that episode (epilogue I think it was).
Looks like I'll be checking this out more
