One Tree Hill - 2/9/06

Anyone still watching this? I really enjoyed the episode. I love everything that goes on between Skillz and Bevin. "I 'swin-lessoned' her. Had to get her back for 'notebooking me.'"

Only gripe I have is that they are making rachel out to be completely evil. I know high school was full of bitches, but damn, give her some character.

Whitey and Skillz were the highlights of the episode.

I like what they are doing with Rachel. Reminds me of Valerie on 90210.

Spoiler:
Next week should be interesting with last year's time capsule video being prematurely played

Agreed.
They should bring Skillz in more often. I laughed at him in the floaties.
Bevin looked pretty damn good in the 2 piece.

I'm still watching, but mostly out of habit. It hasn't been very good since coming back from it's winter hiatus. And enough with the misleading previews. At this point, if you see something major happening in an ad for an upcoming episode, assume the exact opposite will go down. Although in the case of Brooke catching Lucas and Peyton in bed, I'm glad they didn't go with a lazy retread of Season 1's storyline.

As for Rachel being evil, this show needs that. I was pissed how they started softening her up a few episodes back. Let her be the teenage equivilant of Dan, because Lord knows they need to do something to shake things up.

Why is Skillz no longer on the B-Ball team? Wasn't he on it last season? They do need to do something with Rachel and at the end of this one I could see the pain in her eyes from not being one of the girls.

I didn't think Skillz was ever on the basketball team. I think he was just one of the River Court regulars.

I thought at some point last season they added him to the team because they were short on bodies or something. Maybe I am wrong but I would swear that I saw him on the team and playing with the team.

I really disliked some of the storylines this episode, but I still manage to love just about every episode of this series for some reason. The Whitey thing was odd and I don't like what they've done with Rachel. I love Dan, but even though he's over the top, he still feels more believable. Rachel doesn't feel like a real character. The things she does don't even make sense. They're not totally evil, but they don't seem to have an underlying plan to them either. It's like she's just a force of chaos.

So Rachel = Puck? Interesting.
