Rock. This show is really starting to get it's feel back. I think a good part of it is that the acting is getting better and that compliments the drama. Instead of seeing a whinney Coop, I see more of a "truely upset and justified" (well maybe) Coop, which pairs off of Ryan more.

Having said that, I will be sad if there are no more good old brawls like there were back in the day. Perhaps we'll see more of that next year at college since Ryan won't necessarily have to worry about getting kicked out (to the same degree as at Harbour).

That preview for its March 9th return was pretty intense -
Spoiler:
including Julie pulling a 'Basic Instinct' style outfit and attitude, and Ryan getting pounded by a group of thugs!

ryan and marisa are the worst couple ever...

typical convo:

Marisa: Hey
Ryan: Hey. (long pause) So...what do you wanna do. We haven't had alone time in 78,008 days.
Marisa: You just don't understand me.
Ryan: And you just don't understand me.
Marisa: Whatever, I'm leaving. (stomps off)
Ryan: (broods)

They need to break-up and never ever date again. Horrible couple with horrible chemistry.

This was a good episode though, and the future looks promising. Summer and her 'ew' to wearing Kirsten's underwear was funny. Seth was also funny and not overdoing it for once. Marisa was also actually kinda genuine...and I think the reason I dislike her so, is the way she acts when she's around Ryan.

"Yeah, that's my mom's."

"Ew."

Tonights episode had one of the greatest lines of all time, imho.

"If I'm going to swallow something that disgusting, there'd better be something in it for me".

I swear i was millimeters from pissing my pants in laughter.

The best line tonight was, "They're playing Death Cab on The Valley? I'll never listen to them again." I miss all the great meta jokes from season 2.

Melinda Clarke has been doing that to me all season. She really is in top form. Too bad we can't say that for a lot of other things on this show. Although Summer/Seth and Sandy/Kirsten did have their moments in tonight's ep. The storylines involving Marissa always seem to drag this show way the hell down.

I wasn't buying the accelerated pairing off of Ryan and Sadie, that was just way too fast.

Can't believe Kaitlin's going back to school, maybe the next time we see her, she'll be older than Marisa.

Here's hoping Morena Baccarin's character has a more substantial role with Matt in future episodes. It looked like Matt was seriously trying to hit on Marisa at her mom's trailer.

I guess they only have a few episodes with Nikki Reed to hook her up with Ryan before they inevitably give her the boot and put him and Marissa back together.

They weren't too subtle about her coming back at some point. I just hope she isn't paired up with an actor 11 years her senior next time.

Inara is being wasted on this show. She's been in two episodes and had 3 scenes and maybe 5 or 6 lines total. And is it just me or does she look a lot skinnier than in her Firefly days? As for Matt hitting on Marissa, you'd think he'd be smarter than that. The last dude who had the hots for her just took a header off a cliff and died.

Morena looked kinda thin back in September at Dragon Con as well.

No kidding. Just end the relationship already. Move Ryan on to Saddie (cutie by the way), let Marrissa hook up with Dennis or somebody else and be done with it. Their "conversation" on the bed before they get pissed at each other was just painful to watch.
Well, maybe Marrissa and Summer can go back to hotboxing a car, and Seth can go bag Taylor.
