LOL. There's no way he would have made it up that cliff wall. Bye Johnny!

Well, Trey was shot and lived, watch Johnny be paralyzed and the first member of the new Hospital.

Was Summer even mad about the weed, they should have solved that in this episode instead of dragging out that minor plot point into the next episode given the cliffhanger this one had.

Good to see some action from the show.

oh god...I wonder how this'll drag out. Knowing the OC, Johnny will be in a wheelchair with halotraction and on life support. Maybe it'll surprise...but most likely he's alive.

It did have it's funny moments though. "OMG have we been invaded by the taliban?!" hahaha

I'm getting really tired of the same emotional responses from Marisa, Cohen, and Ryan. At least Summer will always be cute.

Neil went to Julie and said he loved her. Johnny scales a cliff and starts yelling like a maniac. Kaitlin calls Maryan to save the day. Marissa joins Kaitlin on the bottom of the cliff and and Ryan goes up to stop Johnny. Johnny starts talking about jumping but gets a little too close to the edge and falls off. Ryan dives but comes up empty handed.

One of the better episodes this season, but that's not saying much.

Julie and Summer salvaged this episode. The rest of it was a snoozefest. I really hope with Johnny's departure, the show starts to pick up. That's what happened 2 years ago when Oliver finally left. Of course, the show had actually been really good before he showed up. Not exactly the case this season.

Seth on pot was hilarious (having the munchies, eating Ryan and Marisa's food, getting all emotional about the ending for "Save the Last Dance"), staring at the blue screen on the TV.

The only part of that entire subplot I really liked was Summer discovering the pot and saying "Ew!".

Arrrgh! Why do I keep watching this show?! Julie is the only interesting character on this show anymore.

I really think it might be time to close up shop on this one. Nothing is happening, in fact, things are repeating themselves (Oliver, anyone)? Shit, I don't want to spoil anything, but you'll see as the storyline progresses in the next few weeks that they essentially just changed the characters names, but the story remains the same.

I'm hoping the influx of new characters in upcoming episodes will spice things up at least a little. Of course, the odds of these people sticking around beyond Season 3 is slim-to-none, so things will be back to normal by next year anyway(provided Fox doesn't close up shop).

Ryan is such an ass!
Doesn't he realize that when Marissa came crawling back to him, this was the perfect opportunity to get her to perform that particular sexual act that she has always said "no way " and "that's gross" to, but would do now to prove her love.

The Seth the Stoner storyline is so infuriating.
In real life, these privileged SoCal teenagers would be high everyday.

Does Julie Cooper water her liquor?
After drinking (just about) that entire bottle of tequila in such a short amount of time, shouldn't Johnny have been passed out? (or dying from alcohol poisoning?)

They already did it earlier this season. Although there's never anything wrong with doing it again.

Something I commented on in last week's thread. The pilot showed everyone getting stoned and/or drunk at parties, including the suddenly uptight Summer. Hell, Seth walked in on a 3-way in the bathroom in that same episode.

Did he drink the entire bottle? I wasn't paying attention to the amount left. I was more focused on rooting for him to slip and fall.

Not even close, nor was it full when they began drinking.

Hopefully Johnny is gone for good.

Seth tearing up at the end of "Save the Last Dance" got a chuckle out of me.

Johnny better be D-E-D.

Seth's "let's take off our pants" line was funny, too.

Julie continues to be the best part of the show. And Summer still has her moments, but they really aren't giving her enough screen-time.
