CSI "Killer" 02-02-06

Spoiler:
The CSIs must investigate when a party girl is injured and killed in a traffic accident. What will become of the case when the focus turns to a convicted rapist?

From what I read, should be an interesting new angle to a CSI episode.

I saw on the preview (no story spoiler, just direction)
Spoiler:
See it fromt he killers eye, which sounds like BS to me. ER has done this several times and I am not a big fan. The show works great on it's own, it does not need gimmick shows to keep that up. As long as they do not do a live show it will be okay.

Well I'll say this wasn't exactly the case. They just showed things from both sides this time, and I think it worked well. I wouldn't want every episode like this, but I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it too. Good to see William Sadler on the small screen again.

The Eurotrip dude bugs me though.

I am glad it was not like some ERs, but I hope they return to their standard formula. This felt more like a L&O:CI episode than a CSI.

I didn't care for it.

Most of the ep was just them tying the 2 cases together then the ending was weak.

If I had a starring role in Solo, I would have turned myself in too.

I agree, it did look like Criminal Intent -- a show I enjoy -- but I hope it doesn't become a trend. Once a season, OK, but no more than that. I am glad, however, that they're working outside the box and trying new things in terms of storytelling.

Man I did not like this episode, I like the dad though from boomtown. I miss boomtown i see it occasionally on HDNET though.

The wife should have said nothing, he should have taken the bus and jumped to mexico and stayed under cover for a while, no-one would really care about the junkie, and the dad of the daughter seemed to dissapear after the cash was left in the mailbox.

I'm glad they tried this type of episode, but it didn't come off as remotely as interesting as the Without a Trace "from the eyes of the parents" one.

Isn't part of the fun finding out who the killer is at the end instead of the first 5 minutes of the episode?

I concur with the unimpressed opinions here.
