That's certainly what I thought as well.

I can't wait to see how Vic starts getting back at Kavanaugh.

Shane forgetting about the wire a couple times.

Sadly, I don't know whether he forgot about the wire or he has been dirty so long he has forgotten how a clean cop acts.

I'd say the latter.

Same here based on...

Shane is an idiot. Out of everyone on the Strike Team he has the MOST to lose if everything done comes to light. Hell, he put Tavon in a coma and lied to everyone about it. He is much worse than Vic. Shane has no sense of where to stop or drawn the line. He runs on raw, uncontrolled emotion. Without Vic to reign him him, Shane would have been dead or arrested LONG ago.

Just to nitpick, Tavon started the fight at Shane (sure, Shane called him a "darkie", but Tavon threw the first punch), and it was Mara that hit Tavon with the iron, causing the car accident which caused his coma.

I don't know about Shane having more to lose than Vic, personally. Vic's got three children, two of which rely on his financial support to keep them in the special school. Sure, he's not currently married, but if he ends up going to jail, his family is probably going to be in worse shape than Shane's.

I saw the scene as Vic being Vic. Aceveda pointed this out to Kavanaugh earlier in the episode when he told him how Vic can lie to you face and make you believe it even though you know better.

I'm not sure if Shane's family will be any better if everything comes into light. Mara would probably get jail time for cracking Tavon's skull, covering up the 7K she sent to her mother, and info she withheld that Shane told her.

Not to mention Shane got the little girl killed, which led to Lem getting caught with the "H" and wasn't it Shane's fault that the two cops also got killed (because he was in with Antwone who was behind it?)?
