This is just moving too fast... they already know about both moles by episode 5? Something's not right here, kids...

areacode212 01-23-06 08:55 PM

That was a badass fight scene! Did anyone else cringe in sympathetic pain when that dude cracked Jack's ribs?

Brian Gentz 01-23-06 08:55 PM

Man I bet jack is pissed right now, you just now he was really looking forward to torturing Spencer (or anybody).

Rogue588 01-23-06 08:58 PM

Fucking awesome. Man, I was hoping Jack was going to torture Spence.

This means that something else much bigger is in store. Maybe this nerve gas plot will be resolved about halfway thorugh this season and switch to the Chinese hunt for Jack or something else. Look at all of the different things that happened last season.

BlackCapTen 01-23-06 09:00 PM

Chloe is the best, love her character. Again glad they didn't dwell on the "mole" thing, just move it along, get it out in the open.

I was yelling "get the needles" when they brought Spencer to the interrogation room.

areacode212 01-23-06 09:01 PM

Hey, have you guys seen this website yet? The Jacktracker.

I laughed my ass off at how Jack walked into the interrogation room at 11:58:44 and managed to get the guy to talk before the hour was over.

It ended up being a pretty solid episode overall. I'm a little surprised Cummings has already been exposed though. I thought for sure they'd milk that for at least a couple more shows. We're not even a quarter of the way through the season.

RichC2 01-23-06 09:02 PM

The pacing is ridiculously fast this season, can't help but wonder whats instore or how insane it'll get.

Both moles were annoying the fuck out of me, thumbs up that they got that out of the way.

Shouldn't that be called LoJack? :D

I was thinking the assassin killed Tony too before Jack got in there.

No because it'll be completely healed in 2 hours.

Either that, or Tony would've saved Jack...

I also thought it was interesting that Jack glossed over what happened with the Chinese to Samwise.

The Bus 01-23-06 09:09 PM

I like that they are speeding up the cliches.

"I broke a rib, let me walk over and pound this guy."

Patman 01-23-06 09:10 PM

So what's Jack's bodycount now?

RichC2 01-23-06 09:12 PM

killCount_Jack += 1;

Morals? Fuck that. Jack Bauer don't need no stinkin' morals.

kevin75 01-23-06 09:14 PM

that was the second coolest fight scene of the series, the first being at the end of S2? when jack had just recovered from dying and he was in the stadium and climbed up over the wall and broke that guy's neck.

i was really wanting that guy to not say a damn word so that jack could 'interrogate' him.

as for the moles, i am really glad they have outed them. i am tired of that plot device.

johnglass 01-23-06 09:15 PM

40 posts without someone threadcrapping about the obvious plot holes or lack of realism in the show? You guys are slacking!

Merkin Muffley 01-23-06 09:16 PM

You know Spenser totally pissed his pants when he saw he was going to be on the receiving end of a Jack Bauer Interrogation™!

We've all come to expect and accept them. Who cares when it's this entertaining?

"Right after we solve this threat to national security, we can sit down with some chamomille tea and I'll tell you all my secrets."

I love Chloe.

Hubcap 01-23-06 09:23 PM

chloe is great. Jack bauer pushing those scissors deeper into the dudes neck was great. Also love the last line, when jack said he wasnt in ctu. overall good episode. Went by so fast.

Patman 01-23-06 09:24 PM

I could have done without that visual.

That was great. Chloe is good.

Great episode tonight. Loved the hand-to-hand combat.

MartinBlank 01-23-06 09:39 PM

Was that Sutherland doing the V/O in the Verizon ad?

kevin75 01-23-06 09:44 PM
