The concept of dueling serial killers is interesting, but this episode was just bad. I guess I couldn't get past the terrible dialogue:
"I'm a cop"
"Are you sure?"
Ugh. I ended up reading the newspaper while watching it this afternoon.

I am usually really excited to see the new Masters of Horror eps on Friday right when I get off work (I get home around midnight usually), but I didn't watch last night. I think the announcement that the Miike ep was being held left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I just couldn't bring myself to watch last night. I'll probably catch up with this show tonight, though.

did anyone catch Larry Cohen's ode to "It's Alive" when Fairuza and Michael M. were in the truck and she asks him what the "horrible thing" was and he says something like it was the skeleton of a two headed baby...do you get scared of scary babies? something to that effect. i was glad i caught that, the rest was blah.

Well, I was disappointed with this ep, but in a really strange way. On paper, I liked the story, the cast and director, but I just didn't think the ep gelled at all. Fairuza really had very little to do, and the whole thing just felt a lot longer than 1 hour.
