Good news and bad news for fans of “Justice League Unlimited.”
The good news is the Cartoon Network apparently begins new episodes on Feb. 11 at 8:30 p.m.

The bad news is veteran cartoon scribe Paul Dini apparently posted this on a website:

These Time Warner turf wars over DC characters have to be the stupidest things ever. “JLU,” starring Superman and Batman, has co-existed for years alongside “Smallville” and “The Batman” (to say nothing of “Batman Begins” or “Superman Returns” or the many, many Superman and Batman comic books in production or all the old Superman and Batman projects floating around on DVDs and in repeats).

The final nine episodes that CN begins transmitting in two weeks:

I group all of these right up there with BTAS, Supes animated show & Batman Beyond as the best superhero shows ever. I miss them all :(

The decision to cancel it seems very premature given the dedicated fan-base.

I'll second the :( and raise you a :mad: for network pinheads pulling the plug on Dini's DC universe on tv. I think it's really short-sighted for the network to dismiss it because it doesn't bring the right demographics to their tv-viewing audience. Yeah, as a 30-something guy the commercials aren't exactly working for me. But I buy these season sets on DVD, which I won't be doing for "The Batman" or whatever other "kidified" versions of the DC universe they have in mind next.

Well the latest episode was pretty much a slobber knocker between the females of the JLU. That was indeed pretty awsome.

No Teen Titans.
No Justice League.
No more good cartoons.

Things Change is the last episode but they are making a direct to DVD movie which will hopefully tie everything up.

I hope they make a series based just on the Flash. Also, isn't there rumors that they are making a Doom Patrol series that is supposed to be in the vein of Teen Titans.

The fight scenes were great and when appeared, I was like holy shit. They should have thrown in there too and that would have been awesome. There were too many loopholes and was probably one of the least favorite of the season but the fight scenes have been the best of the season.

Even Nightwing had a quick cameo in the show which was totally bad ass. Though if you blink you would have missed him.

Q's line was really funny in the new episode.

That alone makes me want to read some Huntress comics.

Eh, Grudge Match was just ok compared to the Great Brain Robbery. Wouldn't it have been obvious to the rest of the male members of the Justice league that all the hot female members were continually absent?

Latest episode, "Far from Home" was alright. It sets up the new series Supergirl and the Legion of Super Hereos quite nicely. I originally was going to put up spoiler tags on that but seriously, this has been announced for a while now on Aint it Cool News. Its funny to see Supergirl . Next one is on Monday. I don't know which one I prefer over, Far from Home or Grudge Match because episodes with the Question are awesome in my opinion.

For episode 38, someone on a messageboard thinks that the team-up is going to be with which I think would be awesome because he is probably in my top 5 favorite comic book characters.

That would be cool, but I would love to see make an appearance.
