Please be cautious about discussing the previews without tags. Carver Speculation Page
I was hoping that Steve Guttenberg would cameo as the real father of the petrified baby.
I liked this episode. Even had some good stuff for Matt. Huge step up from last week.
Edit: And, yes, they did confirm that Erica is indeed alive. Thanks, Matt!

Please don't talk about the previews for next week. I purposefully refrained from watching them. Use the poll thread to talk about the preview/Carver's ID.
That was pretty fucked up btwn Ariel and Mrs. Kringle. I suppose that calcified fetus deal can really happen. I like how Santa recovered quite quickly.

I laughed when I figured out that Santa was being played my Lt. Harris.
I laughed when Ariel's face was burning.
I laughed when they found a calcified fetus in Mrs. Kringle.
I was a bit creeped out when Christian brought in the calcified fetus wrapped up like a real baby, only for it to be in a glass jar.
The previews were crazy and I can't wait for next week.

I actually did not want to throw Matt off a roof this episode. He tried to pull a Matt with Christian in his office, but then he had the confrontation with the dad that turned it around.

Love the final shot on the nativity scene - The rain always brings forth the truth.
I fear Julia's decision to keep the baby will be used for even more pathos and tragedy for next week's 2-hour finale.
The petrified baby subplot was really creepy, as in, how could someone go for 17 years and not know it was there?
Matt finally extricates himself from Ariel and her wacko family, well, her father is the one that did the banishment, but still, he's much better off. Was it wrong to laugh at Ariel's self-inflicted facial burns? I laughed anyway.

Matt and Ariel deserve each other. It looks like they are not totally done with each other.

The dragging of the black wise man I thought was a bit over the top, even for this show. And who goes for an abortion on Christmas eve?? Matt's indifference to psychotic racism is bizzare, as was his re-telling of his mothers mating habbits to his little sister by the x-mas tree.

thing.

That fetus looked awfully large to be an undiagnosed pregnancy. It looked almost full-term. And was it growing outside her uterus? Weird how they just opened her up and it was there, without cutting into her uterus. I think they mentioned something about her abdominal cavity. So does that mean it was an extra-uterine pregnancy? I think I read a woman just had a baby safely from that recently (via C-section of course). So I guess it is possible for the fetus to have grown so large outside her womb, but odd that she did not know she was pregnant.
So funny that the abortion clinic was open on Christmas Eve.

Boy this had more LOL for me than most sitcoms out there.
I laughed at the stupid chick getting the bleach burns, and I lost it when she said her mom was Octoroon, could not help but think of that stupid Octoroon skit on SNL.
