Last place gets around $2500, second place gets $100k. Everyone else is inbetween. I'd guess 2nd gets around $90k, 3rd gets $85k, etc... Somewhere near there.

I don't have a problem with him "playing the game of Survivor" as far as the lying, etc. goes, but to me many of his choices seem emotionally-based versus strategically-based. He wants to keep all the nice people in and vote out (essentially backstab) people he's alligned with that he deems rude jerks, selfish, etc. If he was turning on his alliance for good strategic reasons I'd have no problem with it, but everyone he's turned on is someone that he would easily cream in the finals. He's basically going to have a jury of pissed-off former alliance members and probably a well-liked opponent in the final two. Doesn't seem like sound strategy to me.

And I agree about Cindy and Danni, and somewhat slightly about Lydia (I don't think she really started playing until her butt was on the line). Steph's problem is she either has no conviction or she has no influence. Because she's went from being the leader to coming up with strategies that never pan out due to her inability to convince anyone else to go along with them. She's basically just going along with whatever Rafe says at this point even if she thinks it's a bad move (which it often is).

But by less than the value of the car.

In that case, disregard everything I wrote. The logic is still sound, but cut at least $15,000 off the value of the car, and it's a much weaker argument. I'm shocked they get that much. I figured the differences after 2nd place would be in the neighborhood of one grand, not fifteen.

What I've read is that the first person voted off gets $5000 not $2500. Considering you've got 3 people below $5000, that would seriously affect the pay scale.

If this is true, she made the right choice since the car is valued at around $25k. I think she would have only been around 3 more days, unless she won immunity.

Vecepia won 2 individual challenges though.

Look at OLN for possible holiday marathons, they had a Season 1 marathon on Thanksgiving Day.

I wouldn't compare what Judd did with giving all the other scumbags players brand new cars, but that's just me.

That was probably All Stars. The 2nd place finish was worth $250k there. it was an added enticement to bring some of those clowns back.

It isn't on the same value level, but I don't think it would have bought Cindy any more time than it bought Judd.

Rafe already said he couldn't have voted her out that night had she given him a car and Rafe is clearly the one controlling the game right now, so i have to disagree and say that it would have gotten her through one more tribal council. And this is Survivor so no matter what her standing with the other people left in the game we all know that ANYTHING can happen so she would have had a legitimate shot at the million.

That is very easy to say when she hasn't given you the car. If she had given them the car, he could have just as easily said that she is just too big of a threat now and that he can't risk her making it to the finals. She was in a no-win situation.

I'll throw in an additional $5,000 if Steph will agree to use a hair relaxer this time.

The feeling I had about Cindy taking the car was: 1. It would be great to be able to give four people that you don't dislike a new car - greater for me personally than getting one. 2. The appreciation you get in return is almost like winning immunity. 3. Maybe it is a character test where after you give the cars away, Jeff says "you passed, we're giving you the car as well"

I thought it was very short-sighted, and showed how she wasn't just slyly riding the tide - she never had a head for the game.
