Might need some spoiler tags there

Don't venture in threads after they air if you dont want to get spoiled.

Brad really got the shaft in being chosen. Out of the three options he was the most valuable to the team. It should have been Timmy if they were voting on strengths or whoever the other guy was if it was brains they were voting on. People just like Timmy too much, and I don't blame anyone. The guy is awesome. I would've stopped watching if he weren't on this season. They're using too many new people.

And really what happened to Road Rules? I don't remember the last one they had.

GuessWho 03-08-06 03:00 PM

The Miz just got promoted from WWE's minor league. He'll be part of WWE's Friday Night Smackdown series on UPN.

Thanks to the both o' yaz. I really keep forgetting to catch the show on Monday nights. It's usually hit or miss with me each week. Since I usually play catch up on week or another, I don't mind finding out who got the axe.

You're right, it's a shame Brad had to go. Did he seem pissed when he lost? He's definitely a competitor, but it seems that sometimes he lets his emotions get the best of him.

Also, was Derrick just manhandling him, or was Brad just not getting the answers right in the coconut challenge?

I think MRFONE was just being considerate. No harm in erring on the side of caution. I think the general rule of thumb, is that if something is being aired that day, and someone ventures into a show's particular discussion thread (i.e., American Idol -3/09/06), there's a lot of discussion going on about the show BEFORE the show actually airs on the east coast. Some people want to read that, and just that. However, when a west coast forum member starts reading the thread to find out some of the juice before the show beings airing on the east coast, it's good to know that the reader -- after reading posts that are written leading up to whatever it is the spoiler would be (for ex., who got eliminated on Amazing Race, Survivor, American Idol) isn't stumbling upon a spoiler. Therefore spoiler tags -- while not always necessary -- works.

In this case, that particular episode had been a couple of days old, so I think it was cool to just leave the reply spoiler-less. Either way, I'm happy. :)

It looked like both teams saved their heaviest member for last. You'd think somebody would have caught that. Was Timmy taping that ball to his feet so they'd get all the objects out of the pit? There was no way he was going to get out of there like that. It looked like there was other objects left in the pit anyway.

Brent_MN 03-08-06 08:08 PM

All I have to say is, good thing Beth wasn't there.

ShallowHal 03-08-06 09:52 PM

That challenge looked very difficult, but I don't understand why they didn't make a rope from the duct tape. Maybe they could have lifted the lightest person up, or even had Alton wait until last and just climb up.

Goat3001 03-09-06 01:58 AM

I agree that it made no sense to keep a heavier guy in there for last. They should have gotten all the guys out first and then just pick out the lighter girls afterwards.

Daniel-A 03-09-06 02:08 AM

The smaller women may not have been able to boost the heavier people, though.

I think it would have been good to leave Alton and Landon in there, and do the same thing: use Alton as Landon's ladder. However if you use Alton as the ladder before he reaches the top, he can fall in if there were a mistake without any harmful outcome.

MFRONE 03-13-06 09:38 PM

Comcast gave away the end of this show in their episode info

GuessWho 03-13-06 11:12 PM

Utter (or in her case udder) comedy when Robyn's top fell off today when her team won. I rewound the DVR 3x because her split-second facial expression was hilarious.

zebop 03-14-06 12:02 AM

I missed it :( LOL

It was nice seeing Kina fight--she's something...

ShallowHal 03-15-06 06:41 AM

For those with Comast's On Demand, check out the MTV listings. They have the 'aftershow' from their stupid MTV Overdrive online channel. Each one has an interview with someone, a round of questions, and outtakes/sh*t they didn't show. One was Alton and Jodi bodybumpin' in the Captain's suite!

raven56706 03-15-06 06:43 AM

where's veronica.... se is so hot

Joeboo835 03-15-06 08:36 AM

I found it very interesting that Kina didn't pick Susie. Not only does she supposedly hate her, i can't see her being a harder person to lose to then the person she fought (can't remember her name). Plus, the girl she fought would be a much bigger asset in teh finals (like Timmy said).

I was wondering that, too, but admittedly I like Susie more than all the rookie girls except maybe Kina.

SpaceBoy 03-29-06 05:31 PM

Anybody see the final? talk about no contest. I don't get why you would bet all your points on something, you clearly can't say 100% you'll win like an eating contest. How dumb.

The after show was more interesting. It's terribly gross how everybody has hooked up with one another, and a few seemed to be passed around basically. I couldn't believe Alton actually shacked up with that Anessa hag. GROSS! Randy's girl is totally pyscho too, she couldn't keep her mouth shut at that thing, wonder if there was something going on we didn't know about haha

boogieman03 03-29-06 05:38 PM

Yea the finale was pretty weak. Sucks that Derrick had to lose that last Gauntlet.

I couldn't believe anybody hooked up with Anessa let alone Alton and Derrick.

I'm sure going to miss seeing Kina though. :(

I thought she was a lesbian? Oh well, one man's "hag" is another man's piece of ass.....

That would have been a problem with anyone else. Alton willed himself a vagina.

These reunion shows are always stupid. They either don't let anyone finish a thought, it's horrible editing, or they just don't care how it looks. The host (which was WHO??) didn't even listen to anyone, she just kept going down the checklist of questions that no one had a chance to answer. They should make it an hour, maybe someone would actually get to say something.

It did suck that Derrick lost, I couldn't believe it. I thought for sure Timmy! would get tired and Derrick could drag him to victory. I can't imagine how it would feel to win so many times and then lose in the last one. Especially watching them do the final mission, I bet he was pissed.

I agree, Spaceboy, Kina was acting like a 16 year old. Wow, you don't like someone. You should tell the world, everyone cares and wants to stare at your eleven layer Mystic Tan! Randy, you know what to do.

Hey, don't diss my <a href = 'http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=7298096'>MySpace friend</a>! :grunt:

Aneesa was an annoying bitch on so many levels. Did she do ANYTHING the last several episodes?

Could someone replay her bitching at Beth for "quitting the challenge" when she did the same thing in the finale?

"There's no way I could win against Alton, et al. So I quit!"

Moran. -ohbfrank-

zebop 03-30-06 08:51 AM

Hate to say it, Kina was spot on about that "cutesy" stuff with Susie and Cara. It was total bullshit and Susie is fulla shit, I actually got excited when Kina called her on it.

raven56706 03-30-06 10:29 AM

Kina is too freaking skinny...

oh and thank god mark finally retired.....

Next gauntlet.... please some more Veronica..
