This show is twisted. And gets moreso every week.

I know this idea has probably been thrown around (I don't read spoilers or a lot of threads on this board about the show this season), but has Ryan Murphy stated that the Carver is just one person?

Could it possibly be two people that are 'working' together?

For example, Ava (who could have gone to Paris while the other person (...) carved Christian?) therefore taking whatever heat off of her. Think of it as Scream 1 & 2.

did everyone miss the scene from last week's episode (following Kristen supposedly leaving the wedding) with the Carver sillouhette and the woman? I think that would clearly suggest he is working with someone.

I'm seeing Christian's condom thing getting mentioned a lot, but it's possible that the detective just made it up to get him to confess.
As for Ava, she was a popular character and they want to use her more but Famke Janssen is working on X-Men 3 so they had to write her out for the time being. I don't think her coming and goings are a carver matter. Initially I thought she or her son was the carver but the son is dead and Ava was boarding a plane when Christian was attacked. Also, I think Ryan Murphy says it's someone who's been there from season 1.
I think the crazy HIV+ woman who's working with Julia (forget her name) is suspicious in that she has suddenly shown up a lot again, and is staying just under the radar, making her a perfect candidate for a suprise reveal.
I'm afraid in the end it will be someone lame that no one even cares about, because initially they didn't intend for this carver thing to take off and I feel now they're stuck in a position of making it fit someone who's been on the show, and the way things are going it can only be someone who makes no sense (as in they couldn't have been getting around that much/ 2 places at one time) or somebody minor. All the major/regular characters are painted into a corner otherwise, unless it's 2 people. But what 2 characters on that show would trust eachother enough to water their plants?

I don't recall anything like that, and I think if there were such a scene we would have all been discussing it to death last week. Got a screencap?

As far as the carver goes, I had read it was someone we know but never heard it was someone that's been on since Season 1.

I heard that the last episode will be named and since they name them after patients, I think it's safe to say that the Carver is not the obvious person everyone says it is. Also, will make an appearance.

You never know...the person in question could need surgery because of something he does to himself as the Carver or something the police end up doing to him while trying to apprehend him.

wow. i can put up with alot but i think this was easily the most twisted episode yet of this show.

I really think no matter who the Carver is, there are going to be holes. The cuts are supposed to be made with precision, so if it is someone that is not a doctor, it won't make sense. It really reduces the number of suspects, IMO.

What happened with Anne Heche? How did she and her son leave? My PVR cut off the end of that episode by a couple of minutes, and I can't find the thread on that episode. Stupid crappy search! Can someone fill me in?

She took her son and left. She told Sean not to try and find her. She just wasn't there when he got back.
