I'll miss Sofia Vergara's assets.

So, are they going to finish up the mystery on Reunion or just kill it now?

Yeah, she's smokin'. But holy shit, that show was terrible. I'm pretty shocked it even made it on the air it was so bad ... and I watch Freddie, so my standards are low.

Hot Properties was one of those shows I could watch with no sound. "Emerson" had some nice legs, both Gail and Sophia had nice tops, and well, that's was good enough for me.

I guess there's no need to get caught up on Reunion now. I still hadn't finished the 3rd episode(aka 1988).

I loved the premise of Reunion before I actually saw the show, but it just didn't deliver.

am I glad I never got around to watching more than the 1st ep. of Reunion now. I just keep them all on my tivo to catch up during the holidays. I guess I'll just delete them all now. no need maybe getting hooked on a cancelled show.

My thoughts exactly on Threshold. I watched a couple of episodes and wasn't overly impressed, but I saved the rest of the episodes since so many people had told me it was great. Now I don't have to bother with it.

I still have all of Surface, and am trying to decide if it will be worth it or not (quality-wise, not cancellation-wise)

You're a "mom" now. Don't worry. It happens to the best.

So am I a little. It started off pretty hokey but was actually getting kind of interesting lately. As they moved away from the 1980s and the actors were finally starting to play their own ages it was at least losing some of that cheese factor. For the first time I actually was looking forward to the next week's episode. I'm not terribly stressed about it, but it's a minor disappointment.

At least this solves some of the "there is Fox gonna put ***** once January starts" questions, although I'd hate to see Prison Break thrown to the timeslot wolves like that. I almost wish they'd stuff Arrested Development into that spot. If it's going to get horrible ratings anyway at least they could blame the timeslot...

I wanted to like Threshold but the scripts just weren't very good even though I like the cast. The format they chose was what did it in for me. Each week they look for someone who is trying to spread the signal. Much the same way the format on 4400 where they explore a different person of the 4400 every week. It gets old.
Braga must have been hit with some cold reality of late with this and Enterprise being cancelled. Maybe he can move on to some Sci Fi Original Movies. Those are more his speed.

Agreed. I bailed after the first 3 episodes. Didn't feel like getting involved since I saw its cancellation coming eventually.

Sounds like Reunion will be allowed to finish it's initial 13-episode order. Which means they could throw out some sort of resolution at the end. But apparently they are in production on episode 13 now, so if they want to have any sort of "ending" they'll need to come up with something on the fly.

How the hell has Ghost Whisperer and Close to Home continued to make the cut?

The only show I had checked out of these three is Threshold, and really had high hopes for it, but it was so disappointing after the first hour and the second episode was really boring, and I just gave up hope after that.

Does she like bad TV shows now, too?

Reunion is probably the worst show I ever got hooked on.

From Friday's ratings:
"Ghost Whisperer" put CBS on top at 8 p.m. with a 7.3/14. NBC was second with the Nicolas Cage movie "The Family Man," 4.9/9. "Supernanny" was third for ABC. FOX scored a 3.0/5 with "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones," edging the 2.7/5 for "Friday Night Smackdown!" on UPN. The WB went with repeats of "What I Like About You" and "Reba."

CBS stayed in the lead at 9 p.m. with "Close to Home," 7.4/13. NBC's movie held onto second, while ABC averaged 3.4/6 with "Hope & Faith" and "Hot Properties." FOX was right behind with a 3.3/6 for "Attack of the Clones." "Smackdown!" improved slightly for UPN, holding off The WB's "Reba" and "Twins," which averaged 1.7/3.
The ratings are pretty good on an overall curve, but they are doing great for Friday shows.
