My DVR [non-TIvo] usually works well; it has name-based recording, and updates every night, so as long as the EPG/IPG is updated, it records with no problem. It's cases like this, where I have it set to record 755-840, and the EPG says 'Simpsons 8-830', but the show starts at a different time [usually due to sports, or breaking news/press conference type things].
And no, i"m not recording TWaH. I caught a few minutes of that while I was out of town in a hotel, and thought it was offensive yet derivative dreck.

I thought it was a pretty good episode especially the segments with Lisa and Milhouse.

"She is just the appetizer but Lisa, you are the main dish."

Tivo depends on the guide being updated. For things like sporting events running long, it doesn't catch stuff like that. I just need to remember to pad things more during football/basketball season.

I thought Milhouse's transformation into a 1960's-era Italian stud was pretty hilarious (even if Woody Allen did it).

Just watched it(bit of a timeshift of an alternate nature). I replayed the bit where Marge says something about Homer "calling his own ........ during sex." And maybe my spelling isn't up to par but did the plans Homer finds in Marge's file say "manson" instead of mansion?
