Stargate TV Series Quick Question

I'e just spent 20 minutes researching the following without any luck:

Which season was the Daniel Jackson star removed, and which season did he come back?

Thanks, Bill

Daniel Jackson died at the end of season 5 in "Meridian". He returned as a regular non-ascended character in the first episode of Season 7, "Fallen".

I believe he also shows up in the sixth episode, "Abyss" of Season 6, and the last episode of Season 6, "Full Circle", but as an ascended being.
