It's still possible Anna is there with Shannon at the end but there's no way she shoots her. Her wound is from the creature or a spear.

Shannon's wound is a shallow knife wound that was done up close because when we first see her emerge we see her back which is completely uninjured and bloodless. If she was shot there would be an entrance or exit wound back there. It could still be a spear wound but I think that would go straight through her. Anna could just be ready to shoot after hearing the gunshot (which actually sounds like a rifle to me).
Sayid is the first to look towards the place where Walt is standing, then Shannon turns around and sees him so Sayid definitely sees him too. I think Walt was actually there at the end because when he walks away the branches on the trees move. Plus, he didn't have water falling down his face at the end. All the other visions showed water including the one in the tent. This time it was raining. Maybe the visions were foretelling the night of Shannon's death when it would be raining. |
Finally watched it and I thought it was a good episode overall. I'm not sad to see the "death" of Shannon.

A gunshot to the stomach doesn't have an exit wound. There's alot going on in there for it to come out.

Okay, so gunshots to the stomach area can stay there and not exit but that still doesn't change the wound looking like a long, jagged, vertical hole made by a knife or a spear. Anna probably shot her one bullet at the Other who stabbed Shannon. Hopefully we'll get the resolution to this during the extended flashback episode next week as a flash-forward. :)

Link to the Canadian trailer, much more revealing as always. http://www.livejournal.com/users/voo...tx/343090.html

It was a chest-bursting alien.
I'm convinced of that. |

The whispers that Sayid and Shannon heard. Play it backwards and you can decipher some of it. Anybody else think that maybe the reason "the others" haven't harrassed our losties much is because of the security system? I think the SS protects part of the island, but not the part where the "tailies" landed. |

But the "talies" are/were in a dharma station, which means that theory doesn't work, or the security in that area is broken. |

or they moved to the dharma station after they had been attacked by the others.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but The Hanso Foundation website (an official ABC site) has been updated... http://www.thehansofoundation.org/ go there, go to "active projects", "life extension project", read that, then at the bottom of the letter you can click on some of the text, do that, type in "Copenhagen", hit submit.
