er -- "Dream House" -- 11.03.2005

"Dream House"

Clemente (John Leguizamo), Abby (Maura Tierney) and Neela (Parminder Nagra) secretly care for a VIP patient while Dubenko (Leland Orser) tortures the staff via a robotic television camera from home. Sam (Linda Cardellini) is coerced into a management role and is given a dreadful task. Meanwhile, Pratt is visited by his half-brother, and emotions from the past remind him of his father’s (Danny Glover) abandonment. Goran Visnjic, Shane West and Kristen Johnston also star.

Firing eve will free up money for the OT

why call the chimp the ugliest baby ever? I found it much cuter than 95% of the human babies I've seen

poor chimp

Loved the chimp, very sad to see Darwin go.

The expression on Neelah's face when she finds out that Ray was sleeping with a 14 year old groupie with chlamydia was priceless.

Eve must fall into an empty elevator shaft, she is just evil. Having her turn Sam into one of her minions from hell was just sad.

Pratt finally learns the truth about Charlie, but is still a stuck-in-the-mud, maybe some days of reflection will clear his head.

Finding out Zoe was 14 was the best part of the episode. I liked how Abby & Neela warmed up to Darwin after spending time with him. Robot Dubenko was really pretty silly. Is Weaver even on this show anymore?

I don't miss Weaver, plus Eve has more than filled Weaver's bitch shoes and ramped it up to a new level.

Robot Dubenko was funny.

BTW, Ray's honey was the top-heavy daughter from "The 40 Year Old Virgin".

Is she a Duff? She looked like an amalgam of both of 'em.

Greg's story is not annoying me the way Abby's or Sam's did. Firing Haleh was pretty fucked up. At least she had a slightly better send off than Carter did. Then again, if it gives more screentime for Nurse Inez, then i'm all for it. Fire the bitch!

[Or just get rid of Eve...]

No, not a Duff (though she does have big...teeth!), she's a Dennings, as in "Kat Dennings".

Was that C. Thomas Howell in one of the previews?

At least mommy chimp didn't crash a helicopter down on Clemente in revenge.

Ray: "You said you were a student."
Zoe: "I am."
Abby: "In what, ninth grade?"
Zoe: "No, eighth."

Ray: "I always used a condom."
Neela: "Did you also use a dental dam?"
Ray:

I thought the chimp story was way too gimmicky, and yet another new low for this show. Although I thought the episode in general was pretty decent.

I have worked at several hospitals and so has my wife that is a nurse, and I have never heard of a hospital caring if you work OT as long as the OT shifts are in another department as your home department is not paying for it. Also why would a brand new ER nurse manager need more admin? The ER is not that freaking big to need 2 managers.

After checking IMDB, I remember her from that Bob Saget show from a while back. And also she's going to be back for next week's episode. Should bring some more funny. Poor ray.
