Who would think that Judd would come off as a voice of reason?
I can't believe they didn't provide beer with the feast considering the show they got the last time. Is there any chance Judd would have turned down the feast if beer had been available?

C'mon man. Judd just wanted to be a good sportsmanship by competing the challenge man. Get off his back man.
By the way, I totally agree that Judd needs to piggyback Jamie to the finals...man.

Bobby John is a simpleton, but at least he has achieved his life-long dream of being on the jury. I wish he would either slug Jamie are stop talking about it EVERY episode. Dude, you are a p***y and a dolt, shut the hell up.
The gang of four didn't show much effort in trying to flip a couple of people from the other side. They should have been hammering Rafe, Cindy, and Lydia from the moment they merged. Dumbasses. I still think they have a chance to flip them after what happened last night.
I counted at least 3 "oh my gawds" from Stephanie when she saw the food. She is starting to lose her luster and I think most viewers are starting to see her as a whiny bitch.
The hidden idol and feast vs. immunity challenge things are both great new additions to the game.

So the idol is good for all immunity challenges till the final four and not just a one time use thing? If this is the case the person who finds it will be the most rested Survivor ever.

I think the hidden idol is one time use.
Rafe and Cindy should have voted Jamie. Think about it. Without Jamie your alliance still has the numbers advantage 5-4, plus you vote of a strong member of your own who you won't have to compete with later on. With Jamie acting a fool, they could have easily justified their "betrayal" to Judd and Steph.
I didn't think Steph whined or "bitched" about anything this episode. I guess some people just love to hate her.

P.S. Real bummer to see Brandon go. Seemed like a cool guy and he added some good humor...

I loved the quote by Rafe about his chances at finding the hidden idol: "I'm just the worst person in the world at finding things" I guess its a good thing he doesn't have a job that depends on finding things in a wilderness setting, like ... I don't know ... a wilderness guide! I kept waiting to see a shot of the mini-idol with one of the howler monkeys, but sadly it didn't come to pass
I like this season in that I have no idea where things are going. Yeah, there's the old tribe alliances but those could get shaken up. Gary spent more time with Steph and the gang than Cindy and Judd. I can see shake-ups in the alliances happening. It's not clear what the order of things would be. Some of the strongest players are also assholes who others might like to pull to the finals. And people formerly threatened are now completely under the radar. For my viewing enjoyment, I wish Jamie would go. He's a jerk, but in a completely unentertaining way (unlike Judd). Unless keeping him around means a chance that someone will deck him.
Something tells me there's a beer reward next week ... Judd throws up in the shelter!

I love the idol twist, but they should be able to use it after hte voting. How much would it rule if they all vote for Jamie and all of a suddne he pulls out hte idol to save himself?

These people are idiots though. The group of six acknowledges that it's a numbers game, then they go and vote one of their own off? Stupid. True, it's still five to four, but you're even stronger as a group of six. They let their emotions take over rather than using their heads. I mean, even voting Jamie off would have been stupid because you *want* to keep an asshole around... everyone hates him, so you don't have to worry about him sticking around too long because he'll be voted off eventually. And best case scenario: You get to the final two with him and have no worries about winning the million.
And Rafe..
He's probably one of those people who applies for Survivor to make friends and have a once in a lifetime experience rather than applying to play the game and win. Lame. I hate people who try to hold a moral high ground when they knowlingly join a game based on backstabbing and deceit.

I don't know how much the players helped, but I haven't seen editing in any Survivor that even comes close to painting one side as evil and the other as sympathetic. The scenes of the four working around the camp as the others sat around eating honey and joking about the one who tries hardest should go home and the whole feast vs immunity (which was brilliant) challenge really made some good drama.
I really wanted to see Brandon make it after watching him and BJ joke about smashing up corn

Rafe was pretty funny. Complaining about how mean his team was...between bites of food at the feast.
Bobby Jon made some sort of derogatory comment about Steph before the merge. I wasn't sure what he said, or what is was about, but they seemed to get along okay once they were face to face.

Brandon is NOT part of the six. Jamie is.
