clckworang is correct. It's been a grueling two weeks without a new episode.

That photo at the top of the thread is great.

In Roman times, Utica was a city in what is now Tunisia.

this may be a dumb question, but the previews for next week said that there are only three episodes left. Is that for this season, or is the showing coming to an end?

For the season. It has been contracted for a 2nd season. From what's been said, though, the 2nd season won't air until 2007.

This show really does get better with each new episode.
I really loved this one, I didn't even notice how fast time flew!
Titus is a great character....Octavian was awesome too. Calling out
his sis like that (and their "scene" together ).
I really can't wait for next week...this has become my favorite show, surpassing Lost.

some even live up to their names today. The area around Utopia Parkway isn't too bad. I just read 1776 and it was fun seeing what happened to some of the locations mentioned in the book. Even better was actually realizing that there was actually nature here and not just concrete. One of these days I'm going to drive around Queens and find the secret pass the British used to flank Washington's army.

I really love to look at Octavia. She's :drooly: as well as Titus' slave. I know that is the last thing that should be on my mind in something like this but with all the naked ugly women on the show I'm happy for the occasional break from them.

Really enjoyed the opening bit and the suicide/euthenasia deaths. Seemed to ring true.

Great episode in a consistantly top notch show.

Easily, one of the (if not the) best shows on TV.

I'm curious to see how the relationship between Pullo and Vorenus is played out. The events of this episode seem to drive a huge wedge between them, unlike the comparitively petty things in the past episodes.

I didn't see an episode of Rome until last week where they went through all the episodes. It's frustrating to have to wait an entire week to see the next episode, and then only getting to watch one new episode at a time

Terrific episode, another hour of my life absolutely flies by. I was very glad to see that they didn't try and show the future Augustus as some sort of dupe.

Yeah, you could pick up a strong jealous vibe from Pullo.

Who would have ever thought you could work the line "You fucked your sister you little pervert" into a show of such quality

Only 3 more episodes left! I liked the character work of Pullo this episode. In past episodes he came across at times like a clown, but a couple scenes in particular added great depth to the character. First, his pained response to Niobe's scolding him for touching Vorenus' toga. It was quick, but effectively conveyed the stab of pain that the character must have felt, getting the hint that he was about to be phased out of a friendship because he was consider too low class. And the scenes with the slave girl, where you can see that he's fallen in love with her. Nice work by the actor here.

Or how within 15 more seconds it was all forgiven and hugs around.

Pullo to Vorenus: "You look like laundry."

I felt bad for Pullo. He looked all sad cause I guess he sorta is feeling like his buddy Vorenus is selling out and leaving him behind.

I liked how Octavian knew what Octavius was doing yet still shagged her anyway.

totally played her.

Well, you know, their names are Latin for "eight-something".

Yes, I realize that works better as a spoken joke than a written one, but what can you?
