I think that Kit (a) is not the carver, and (b) planted the condom. Maybe just out of spite. The carver is not worried about being caught, so wouldn't try to frame somebody else for their crime. I doubt they'd have 2 faked carver victims in 2 episodes, so I don't think Kit faked hers either...but, what do we know? It could be anybody.
