This episode is why I still watch this show. I was
the entire hour. Caruso was on fire the entire episode.
"I'm a private citzen now" cut to him in the room with the ME while she's examining the body of the woman who he's accused of killing.
The pose he struck while Calleigh was swabbing his knuckle with his head between his legs
Oh yeah, Delco's a pothead now.

I am saddened that he didn't turn in his shades with his badge and gun.

wow, i normally don't watch this show (i just stick with Vegas, and sometimes NY), but was interested due to the previews. and expert at crime scene cleanup is trying to frame the head CSI? sounds cool!
then i started watching and remembered how much of a joke David Caruso is... wow, talk about overdramtic. I assume he's like this in every episode. that pose when he was getting his hands swabbed... just amazing.
This epsiode seemed like it had so much potential... but it just fizzled. this seems like something that could have gone over two episodes. at least to build a little tension. not to thread crap or anything, cause as most people say, the show looked great in HD, but this storyline would have been 1000 times better on Vegas...

I don't remember that judge though from any previous episode. Why does he have it out for H?

Well at least the judge is remembering he is thinking of justice first. Is Donald Kaufman the head writer now?

I did read that in Entertainment Weeekly this weekend, but it seemed like it was unrelated to this. I Wonder if Sipowicz will be there

"This fiber isn't from a car"
"That means it's out of place"
Actually, the only thing out of place was that the car was 100% spotless except for one solitary bright red fiber

a small business in Buffalo going out of business. The name might have been fake, but the going out of business was dead on
"private citizen" cain going around in places he might get hurt or confronted with no gun or badge. yeah, right. and they leave him in charge of the investigation even though he's a suspect. Sure they quickly found some evidence that he was being set up, but until that was proven he shouldn't have been told anything about the case
and don't get me started on the fucking hollywood "every gun must make the sound of the hammer being cocked" shit. The guy had a Glock pointed at H. Glocks don't even have hammers, neither external (that would make that noise) or internal. They use a striker (kind of like a spring loaded pool cue stick)
