Yep agree that the show has bounced back

Great new characters, even the new guy is pretty cool, he's not too overstated in any way.

Not a fan of seeing pregnant Syd in the field

I can't see Dean not having a higher level boss and yes Amy Acker bring a whole new dimension and i reckon set of fans to the table, she is awesome!

the new team is definitely a thumbs up

The ratings for last week was down again to 6.8 million viewers. Do you think that Alias is in danger of getting cancelled? It is still the highest rating for ABC on that night if that means anything. I do feel that the show is getting better. There are still so many questions from the past 4 years that still need a better answer. I hope that they don't leave us hanging. Also, what do you think is the chance since JG has some movie potential that they might take this show to the big screen?

I'm liking the show again. I wasn't sure I'd go for all the new characters, but Rachel's bringing alot to the show. She reminds me of Sydney from the first season.

I hope at some point Sydney stops going out into the field because she's getting more and more pregnant. It's going to be hard for her not to get noticed in public.

There's nothing sexier than a girl who can solve roots for binomial calculus (whatever that means...)

This episode was excellent. it sure looks like the show is back on track. Lets hope DVD sales and reruns are bringing in good money, so the show survives.

the ratings for alias have never high. And its coming in 3rd and is the highest for the night for ABC. I dont think you gotta worry about it getting cancelled. I think the new cast members are excellent. I agree the new guy is pretty cool.

Its wierd cause before even the look of the show in the fourth season seemed dull and boring and not alive. This season everything is back, Loving it so far.

loved the scene when in the car hanging. Sydney says "I've been in worse situations before" camera shows a back seat and you hear "really?"

It will make it through the season, but anything beyond this season looks highly doubtful.

I just hate the 7pm (CT) timeslot. I'd like it on at 9, and think they'd get more viewers for this type of show at that time.

Yeah, but would it be a 12 or 22 episode season?

I'm still hoping that Garner will just leave the show and the producers give the other characters a chance to keep the show running for another season.

If they wanted ratings for it they wouldn't have seperated it from Lost.

I think the only reason it made it this long is because ABC didn't have anything else. NYPD Blue and The Practice were nearing the end and they couldn't get anything else to succeed and Alias was really their only show that received praise from critics.

Now they have Lost, DH, Grey's Anatomy, and Boston Legal that all get ratings, win awards, or both and Commander In Chief looks like it will be another hit for them as well.

I was never an "Alias" fan and watched sporadically the episodes of the first 3 seasons. Last season, I gave up on the show after the season premiere.

However for some reason, I decided to start watching it again this season and I now find myself liking this show a lot. I may even go back and start watching the previous seasons DVD sets.
I like Rachel Nichols in this show than I ever did on "The Inside". Her acting hasn't improved much but is more bearable in this show.

the new characters are helping the show some IMO.. Everyone was already a hardcore jaded spy so the fresh character of Rachel Nichols not knowing what is going on and chance for errors etc opens up more story lines.. It also does not hurt that is hot looking of course.

plus I like the "who is in the box?" arc so far.. I might not like it as much once we find out who in there if the character/role or whatever happens is sort of lame..

of course I do have this sinking feeling that end of the season is going to be "My baby? Where is my baby!??!"..

as I side note about the show over all.. I REALLY hate the fake film grain filter etc they are running on the show. I get that it's for a "look" but it just seems really strange to have a show in HD then over grain the picture to get this over cranked film sort of look to it. They did it last year too.

Now all we need more of is Jack, eyeballs, and sporks. Then we'll have the makings of a great season.
