Your most want show in HD

Not including shows on channel not in HD - F/X, USA, Sci-Fi, what current shows can you not wait to get in HD?

I am still surprised that CBS has not switched to HD for Survivor. They have some of the greatest shots on tv that would rival Discovery channel HD, but they are in SD, maybe one day.

Scrubs would be my other HD want, besides all of F/X series.

...although a lot of those shows have HD masters. Battlestar Galactica and Monk have both aired in high-def on Universal HD, The 4400 has aired in HD outside of the U.S...

I wouldn't mind seeing HBO's half-hour comedies like Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm in HD. If I had to pick one, I'd say Battlestar Galactica -- it looks great in high-def, and it was kind of jarring going from the first season in HD to the second in grainy, low-res SD.

those were the first two that came to mind. Survivor and Scrubs.

I'm guessing Survivor isn't shot in HD because of all the hand-held shooting that is done and the fact that HD equipment is bigger and more expensive than standard equipment...making it harder to lug around a deserted, tropical location.

I'd like to see Simpsons/Family Guy go the HD route -- if only for the 16x9 ratio. But that's pretty low priority... watching it in SD is no biggie.

Watching The 4400 has been painful ever since getting my HDTV. Even the DVD set of Season 1 looks ten times better than what I'm getting via digital cable.

If this thread had been started a few months back, I would have added Letterman and Conan to the list, but that's thankfully been corrected recently.

WWE shows and Meet the Press just because they are the only two shows I regularly watch in SD.

Entourage and Survivor.

Entourage should be a no-brainer, but I can see how Survivor would be nearly impossible to make HD (based on the number of HD cameras needed and the harsh conditions).

If your cable/satellite provider carries HDNet, they air the first four seasons of Smallville in high-definition.

None of the Mark Burnett reality TV shows seem to be in Hi Def, even the newer ones that don't have the harsh shooting conditions of Survivor, like The Apprentice or The Contender. Not sure why, maybe they're just very cost conscious.

Fox will have an HD channel earlier next year. It's still unknown if it will be a dumping ground for reruns like Universal HD is for NBC shows or if it will have newer stuff on there.

Amazing Race would be my pick. Of course, that would be even harder to do than Survivor.

Charmed.. I sort of dislike the show to be honest but hey they do have some hot women on the show and a range of guest stars so I watch it every now and then..

So for that reason alone I would like to see it go to Hd.. Sort of shocked it did not change over this year to be honest. Bulk of prime time is now in HD sep for the lone sitcom or reality tv show here or there.. Even most of the WB prime time line up is HD now, even if they are too lazy to have a real HD logo off to the side. Forcing one see this strange WB 1/3 of the way in from right.. LAME..

if one has asked this a few months back I would have said SNL or Letterman but both of them have since swapped over to HD..

Most of the shows I watch are already in HD, but I'd just love to get the FOX network in HD (still don't have it available in HD yet, and I'm really like to watch 24 in HD one of these days). Otherwise, I'd have to go with Scrubs and Curb Your Enthusiasum.
