What else could he contribute. He doesn't seem to be particularly bright or skilled at anything. I would argue that the only reason he is there is for humor attempts.

Ditto. That didn't disprove anything.

My $.02 on the teddy bear is it shows me that it is Alex. She was taken as a baby/young child and is holding on to it as the last thing from her mother, Danielle.

Oh..and....
Spoiler:
can ya believe people who don't watch the previews and get so upset when someone mentions stuff shown in them? It IS a rule here at DVDTalk so I abide by it, but i think it's funny. Then I realized, we can talk about them in spoiler tags since they don't read them. And if they respond to anything SAID in a spoiler, then they are hypocrites.

It's .kr

So [email protected] would be the address. I sent an e-mail, no reply yet.

I never watched Angel... or Buffy for that matter (runs out of thread!)

I don't think he'll answer you unless he can get that computer in the hatch to do something other than process the numbers.

He doesn't even know that the hatch is open, let alone that there is a working (albeit old) computer down there.

Oh yeah. I forgot. See what happens when the storyline crawls so slowly. By the time they find Walt, he's going to ready for college.

I'll need a screen cap for that one. I'm pretty sure I didn't see any legs at all.

You could see legs. If they were a boys legs, he would've been probably 10 or under. They were all dirty, so I don't think you can tell for sure if they were black or white - if black, it wasn't Walt. They also seemed to look like they could belong to a mid-teen, length wise (just guessing on the length from what I could see). I like the idea of it being Alex. It's not Walt.

i tried paying closer attention to the background during this episode. if anyone can get a screencap, i thought i noticed a little sillouette of a man in the background when Jin was facing the camera and talking to his friend in the apartment. The background was a yellow/orange curtain on a door and right over Jin's shoulder, it appears to be a shadow of a human figure.

i thought the episode was half filler and half decent. i enjoyed whenever they showed michael, jin, sawyer and really thought it was dragging whenever they showed sun and "our" side of the plane. seems like jin and already picking up more and more english. and it should only make sense that Michael would pick up more and more Korean as well (but then that's how things always go, the non-english speaking character always learns english and the english speaking character never truely learns to communicate in the other tongue).

Michael had a teddy bear for Walt when he had the meeting on the street with Walt and his Mother. I don't remember if Walt ever took it.

runner...I looked, didn't notice anything like that? I did notice the mirror Jin was prepping himself in front of was an octagon, looked a bit like the DHARMA symbol.

aktick, its the scene where he's sitting down to put on his shoes (RTV's time index shows 3:45ish). perhaps its just the design pattern in the drapes, but it was the only one. they framed it so that it showed perfectly right over his right shoulder so i thought it was of some significance.

also for those looking for "orange", the scene where Sun was talking to her mother in her room, there was plenty of orange colored things in that scene.

I'm more interested in how Misterecko, or whatever his name is, said that the others do not leave tracks.....
I dunno...I still like the nanotechnology theory for a lot of things that are going on.

I thought they don't leave tracks because they are not wearing shoes.

Wasn't that, and to see the teddy bear, the point of showing the "others" below the knee?

In season 1 Danielle said that The Others came and took Alex when she was only a week old..... I highly doubt she knows anything about her mother or remembers her at all.

I don't know, people who don't wear shoes still leave "tracks" unless he specifically meant shoeprints, but that's not how I interpreted the meaning at all.
