Kitchen Confidential... cancelled?
I liked this show, but only saw one episode. Has it been canned or are they on hiatus for sports?

I worked in a kitchen of a high class restaurant and all I can tell you this show is a bunch of BS. I was looking forward to this show but I saw the first episode and never watched again.

Ooookay. It's not labelled as a documentary. And having a spouse who is "in the industry", some of the stuff isn't too far off the mark. And if you've read the book (Kitchen Confidential by Tony Bourdain), some of the stuff is DEFINITELY not that far off the mark.

Dude, you're that guy! When you worked there didn't you think it was odd that everyone stopped laughing and talking when you walked in?

FOX Re-Opens 'Kitchen' in November
(Thursday, October 27 12:14 PM)
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) As "Kitchen Confidential" has only aired three episodes, none of them to much of an audience, you'd be forgiven for thinking that FOX had given up on the show, network protestations to the contrary aside.
It appears, though, that the network will indeed stick to its word and let "Kitchen" try to cook up some new viewers during the November sweep period. The show is scheduled to return to the air Monday, Nov. 14 -- six weeks after its last airing on Oct. 3.
Some of its off time was caused by FOX's coverage of the major league baseball playoffs. This week and next, the network is airing repeats of "Prison Break" in the 8 p.m. hour, and on Nov. 7, "Arrested Development" will get a full hour.
"Kitchen Confidential" has struggled in the Nielsens during its brief time on the air. Despite mostly positive reviews, it has drawn only about 4 million viewers per episode.

Apparently there is a new episode being streamed at http://www.myspace.com/kitchenconfidential
I haven't watched it yet to know if it's really new or not. I wonder if this is good or bad news. Good in that they are trying to find new ways to promote the show, but bad that they are burning off new episodes on the internet.

Is John Cho still on the show? He was in the pilot and after that I never saw him again. John Cho is the Asian dude from American Pie and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.
