1. das Monkey - Monday through Wednesday did it for me
2. mdc3000 - liked both lineups, but this one had Arrested Development
3. Lokimok - another tough one, but this one had more shows I love (Curb, GG, NE)
4. apeyard - same as the previous and also I'm NOT a wrestling fan
5. nny - good lineup, plus I hate anything Star Trek
6. Suprmallet - Very solid lineup with Twin Peaks and Curb Your Enthusiasm
7. TracerBullet - This was probably my hardest choice; both are great
8. auto - This one had AD, and the other was a little too sitcom heavy for my taste

It seems I'm facing a little bit of a deficit so I'll pump up my picks . Now if you like Arrested Development more than The Simpsons, Alias more than The Shield, Scrubs more than Cheers, and so on than I'm not getting your vote. But don't vote against me just because you lack my faith that I will look back on Lost Season 2 as being a great pick. As much as I liked Lost Season 1, barely anything happened on the island. They built a boat, whoop de freaking do. Meanwhile, season 2 has been nonstop payoff. I've been on the edge of my seat 90% of the season so far. It's like you've been dating this girl for a year with barely a peck on the cheek, she goes on vacation, comes back and you're not expecting anything, but guess what: IT IS ON! I watched the premier thinking
Spoiler:
there's no f-ing way they'll ever say what's down the hatch until like Thanksgiving, but 20 seconds in we see mullet-head getting pumped to Mama Kass in the middle of an arsenal.

So basically, if you like Lost Season 1, how can you criticize Lost Season 2?

1. das Monkey - The Babylon 5 and Homicide make this an easy choice.
2. mdc3000 - Tough call, but Prison Break sealed it for me.
3. scott27 - All in the Family was a great choice and the deciding factor here.
4. Triple S - I just have to go with Newsradio here. One of my favorite shows.
5. nny - I laughed that someone would actually pick Big Brother. Then I saw Season 2 (Dr. Will).
6. lordwow - Like this lineup much better than the competition.
7. Jericho - This is a tough one. Buffy, Angel, Quantum Leap vs. Deadwood, Sopranos, Rome. It's the Babylon 5 that won the day here. Das likes to say season 3 is the single best season of any show, but I'd put it up against season 4 any day of the week. Season 3 has some of the best episodes, but overall, season 4 is the workhorse season of the series with the highest average rating overall.
8. auto - Homicide and Carnivŕle make this an easy choice.

Season 4 is awesome, don't get me wrong. It's one of my favorite things to ever air on television, but Season 3 is slightly better and more consistent in its storytelling. I also think the emotional resonance of what happens in the 3-episode "Severed Dreams" arc is more powerful than its ultimate resolution. Had the uncertainty of Season 5 not gotten in the way, it's likely Season 4 would take the title, but the story shuffle that ripples through the season is what keeps it in a close but decisive second. Talk about 44 kickass hours of television, though. I wonder if we'll ever see anything like that again.

I'm getting hosed, but I suppose I'll vote anyway.

1) Das - Probably the best lineup on here. My comments from week 1 stand, and I'd probably watch this network 2nd only to my own.

2) Cleaver - Still a fan of this network, I don't watch any of MDC's shows... sorry.

3) Scott27 - Neither station really stands out too well for me, but I think Scott's selection is better.

4) Apeyard - A clear victory.

5) Chew - good variety and greate choices late round.

6) Lordwow - Hi, I'm Lordwow.

7) TracerBullet - Another tough call, but Tracer on account of QL and some foreign variety. Just a different station than most on here.

8) Auto - Great picks.

I do like season 3 better just for the Severed Dreams arc. But if you look at the ratings on The Lurker's Guide, you'll see that every season had at least one episode rated lower than anything found in season 4. Of course every season also had at least one episode rated higher than anything found in season 4. But if you average out the scores, season 4 comes out on top (barely beating out season 3). I still like season 3 better, but I'm not sure how you can say it's more "consistent". That's why I called season 4 a workhorse. It's didn't have any amazing episodes, but almost every one was at least "good".

Of course that's all based on ratings tabulated from viewers back in the day. Your own views might disagree with theirs.

I knew I should have gone w/ FASTLANE instead of MIAMI VICE.

1) screw Babylon 5 - my lineup of Scrubs and a shit-load of Season One's is soooooo much better than das's tripe.

2) mdc3000 takes the cake w/ the two fine selections of Scrubs and Rescue Me.

3) All in the Family wins it for scott27 (again).

4) apeyard has the stronger all-around lineup, although Triple S had The Office.

5) I guess Chew wins based upon Lucy and the Python boys.

6) sorry 'mallet, but the combo of M*A*S*H, Boomtown and The O.C. put the ball in lordwow's court.

7) Jericho - easily

8) I guess I'll go w/ auto

Nah - same kind of show. Now Fastlane for House or Ed, then you might have gotten my vote.

1. Das Monkey
Like I said in Round 1, I think Das's first half is exceptionally strong, but I don't care for the second. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much of BA's Shows.

2. cleaver
The best of the Simpsons leads Cleaver to victory.

3. scott27
Close one. Neither got my vote in round one, but they are still both strong lineups. I went with scott27 despite the sitcom overload.

4. apeyard
I'm not into some of his shows, but I can recognize a good schedule.

5. Chew
Even with a nny's selection of one of my favorites (buffy S5), I think this one is a blowout. Nice picks Chew.

6. Suprmallet
Very good schedule by Suprmallet. Bebop and Kids in the Hall are a bit obscure, but what they lack in popularity they make up for in me liking them.

7. Jericho
Sunday nights is a clash of the Titans here. I think Tracer wins that night, and has some other very good picks, but I haven't even heard of a couple of his other shows and Jericho has good depth, even if it's a bit drama heavy.

8. auto
A lot of quirky picks on both sides of this matchup.

That usually due to the guilt over how much schlong she took in Cancun.

So yes, AD is a great show, but it's by far the most overrated show on TV. Plus, it won the highest award it could possibly ever win. That automatically disqualifies it as being underrated.
Wow nny, I could not have said that better myself. I am glad I decided to read the rest of the thread before posting a long-winded reply that would not have been half as "spot on" as your post. Cheers.
