Can you beleive my local NBC station didn't air this!? They showed an episode of Access Hollywood in its place.

Due to graphic nature of tonight's episode of The Office, WLEX has chosen not to air tonight's show. We apologize for any inconvience. Thank you for watching WLEX.
Morons. I can't remember this station making similar decisions in the past. Thanks for the head's up on the Bravo repeats. I'll check my tivo.

That's what you get for living in Kentucky. -ptth-

That's pathetic. They did run a warning before the episode here. I thought it was a mistake. Then the episode started...

Boot 09-28-05 04:41 PM

What a hilarious episode. So many great moments. I'm still laughing about the "that's what she said" moment. The delivery was perfect.

It capped off a great "that's what she said" week for my wife and I. We saw for the first time the King of the Hill episode where Ben Stiller guest stars and uses the crap out of it. Mere hours before The Office, we finally got Gilmore Girls from the prior week (we have no primary WB affiliate here). It featured a couple of them, as well.

Gizmo 09-28-05 09:32 PM

I cant beleive no one mentioned Michael calling his friend a BFF. LOL

dcswirl 09-28-05 11:35 PM

"My mom is coming"

"That's what she said" rotfl

Jim lifted it from Tim's look, but it was well done. I believe Tim lifted it from Oliver Hardy.

All in all I thought this episode was loads better than last weeks.

For years, my dad has always used "That's what your mom said on our first date". It became the running gag in my family and I joined in with my dad, saying it all the time. When my mom says something like "Wow, that's big", I always pipe up "Isn't that what you said on the first date?" etc. Kind of explains a lot about my sense of humor.

I thought last week's episode (The Dundies) was the worst of the 8 so far
it was still good but that just shows how great the other 7 were

another reason I'm glad the show is called The Office and not The Chili's

and yes props to BJ
....that's what he said

Groucho 09-29-05 08:17 AM

It was great to see David Koechner. I hope they have other cameos from Carrell's Anchorman / 40-Year-Old Virgin cronies. (Not to mention Daily Show folks).

Of all the good lines, that one was my favorite. And the funny thing is, I thought of William Hung too (before the joke was made) when I saw the plates, even though I thought of the other meaning first. How sad is that?

Michael Corvin 09-29-05 08:54 AM

I thought William Hung too when I saw it. I didn't want to be the first to admit it.

Kevin go to your corner.

NORML54601 09-29-05 12:33 PM

Another awesome episode. S2 is off to a much better start than S1 IMO.

Mordred 09-29-05 12:50 PM

Watched this last night. I think this one is better than the Basketball episode. I laughed so hard I started sweating and tearing up. I don't remember ever laughing that hard at anything on TV ever... including the original Office.

Bravo NBC for having the balls to air that episode.

"MILF!"

Quake1028 09-29-05 10:43 PM

"What does the female vagina look like?"

Best line in an episode full of great ones.

Decker 09-30-05 01:29 AM

Thought it was funny as hell also. I was watching it in my gym and both I and the guy on the treadmill next to me simultaneously lost it during the "twins" story.
It was AWESOME!!!

I prefer "where is the clitoris" from that scene more. And you know what was underrated? The anticipation that built from Jim's comments baiting Steve Carell into saying "that's what she said." We all knew it was coming, and it was still funny anyway. Great show.

Red Dog 09-30-05 08:44 AM

Pretty funny episode. No coincidence that this episode and racial sensitivity episodes have been the funniest of the lot.

cracksky 09-30-05 11:11 AM

"Very topical."

About the Michael Jackson e-mail forward.

Stellar episode.

Tommy Ceez 09-30-05 12:34 PM

Well, I was born after September, and thats typically the cut-off.
