Just saw the Ep and Im really liking this show. I cant wait for the DVD. I hope they go all out and put some historical docs and maybe even on commentarys

However, I didnt really like Titus and Augustus bieng together to kill Niobis lover. Why was he with Titus? Why would Titus take him? After he gets pissed at Titus for hitting his shoulder and telling him never to do it again; Id want that kid to fuck off; now theyre friends?

And I do like tjat they use the word Cunny. I needed something new to add to the list :D

I thought this was easily the best episode yet.

Titus knows what side his bread is buttered on...becoming the muscle/mentor for the weak but cunning grand nephew of Caesar is a WHOLE LOT BETTER than going back into the soilder ranks.

Thats true, but it seemed too rushed. Maybe after they spent more time together; Titus would take him out. It just seemed odd coming right after Titus becomes friendly with him and the kid gives him shit.

At least this may ensure him and Lucious lasting more than one season. In my opinion these 2 MAKE the show.

And Niobi aint so bad herself. She has that "exotic" look. Very hot. Anyone else think thats NOT her nipple they always show when she breastfeeds? I mean unless that really is her baby, what mother would want to have her baby suck on some other women for a show? Id expect its the actual mother to whomever the baby belongs too.

Does anyone know what "The ram has touched the wall" is supposed to mean? I mean, I've recently brushed up on my ancient Roman phrases, but this one didn't make any sense to me at all.

I think it's a reference to a battering ram, as in an army laying siege to the city has already initiated their assault.

That's how I interpreted the phrase as well.

This is a great show. I love history and this show, whether completely accurate or not, has my attention every Sunday.

Finally got around to watching this last night.

One thing I really like about this series is that it doesn't attempt to shoehorn 21st-century values onto the characters. Most shows of this nature we'd have some "before his time" hero who gives lectures on the evils of slavery, and what-not. Not this show. :thumbsup:

Yeah, Titus definitely hitched his wagon to the right horse.
