Wasnt Caleb broke last year, he just didnt tell anybody? I dont remember.
And how did Jimmy owe money again?
And the guy that he owed money to, why spend more on getting guys to beat him up?

Next we have Charolett that is there just to go psycho. She is there (just like the new school guy) as a plot device. It's already boring.
The whole Jimmy thing was just sad. Why did they have to do this to the character? Is this the only way they could get him out of the picture?
I'm this close from deleting this from the tivo permanantly.

I don't mind Charlotte, she's not quite as bad as the Dean, plus Jeri's contract will expire within a few episodes anyway. Jeri Ryan is an excellent actress and I'm looking forward to her leaving this risible series; her Charlotte character only seems like a cross between Oliver and Julie.
Also I think the rest of The OC is pap and always has been pap...

Of course they are! And when the truth comes out, most likely via Seth & Summer - the jerkwad Dean will get the boot, thus allowing Marissa & Ryan to return to Harbor, as they were unfairly booted out. Most of the stuff the Dean has been pulling has been comnplete BS, and I'm really surprised he hasn't been called on it yet. But of course, they've got to drag it out a bit.
Anyway, I think they're telegraphing the plot a bit too much, that is, when they aren't rehashing it. I mean, haven't we seen this whole Kiersten/Charlotte scenario before in S1 with Marisia & Oliver? The only diffference being that we don't know what Charlottes' objective is yet. Not to mention the whole buisness with Jimmy - again.
I haven't seen tonight's epsiode yet, so, that's about all the light I can shed at the moment. Just hope things improve writing wise, cause so far, things haven't been nearly as good as S1 or S2. The allure of this show used to be that it mixed it's drama pretty evenly with camp & humor - but so far this season, the latter has been serverely lacking.

I think the fact that no one's even bothered to create a thread for tonight's episode speaks volumes regarding this show's catastrophic decline.
