Thought there'd be a thread for all the pilots, but I guess no one watched this one, but me. I've been in love with Paula Marshall ever since Sports Night so I had to check it out. Wasn't anything special compared to the rest of the night's sitcoms (AD, HIMYM, and Kitchen all were very good IMO), but it wasn't gutwrenching either. Constance Zimmer comes in later in the season, that'll keep me tuned in for a bit at least.

Saw an ad for this, are there any more hot girls on this show besides the ones mentioned? Might want to tune in next time..

Jennifer Tilly plays the part of a mistress to the father. But I don't really like her.

Show was pretty crappy. Your basic sitcom where you can see the joke coming from miles away. Stockard Channing was just plain annoying.

I love Paula Marshall as well, but this just didn't do it for me. Get rid of Coco and put PM back on Veronica Mars as Keith's love interest!

I'd be interested in seeing Constance Zimmer though.

I watched this strictly because of the cast, but wasn't too impressed. I'll give it a few more viewings. Hopefully, some non-family members will be regulars to expand the "universe" a bit more.

LoL c'mon this isnt like Enterprise where you had to make excuses for watching the show.

This show screams "I belong on NBC not CBS!" Which is probably why I enjoyed it, and I usually don't like the pilot episodes of series.

I didn't like whoever is playing the main guy's brother. The rest of the cast was pretty good, even the Fonz. The main guy looks way too young to have been already married, IMO.

Constance Zimmer is joining the cast? She is hot.

Perhaps he looks young, however, in real life Christopher Gorham (Jake 2.0/Odyssey 5) is 31 and married with 2 kids I believe. Regardless, I didn't care for this when I saw the pilot months ago, and aside from a few minor cast changes, didn't enjoy the aired version either. A good cast in a below average sitcom. In a word...painful.

Her's was the voice on the answering machine. Checked IMDB and it says she is in episode 7.

Sports Night? Hell, I've like Paula since she was in Hellraiser 3 six years prior to that show. Get thee back to Veronica Mars pronto!
