Out of all the new comedies I've watched this season, this was far and away the best. It's on at a killer time though: I have Amazing Race, Commander in Chief, and Supernatural at that time too.

Next week Earl repeats on Saturday. Is that going to be a weekly thing?

Earl doesn't necessarily know that, though. He knows that he did something to piss the guy off.

Anyway, I don't think it matters. If you're freaked out enough about karma to go picking up litter outside a motel, I don't think you're going to be inclined to take chances.

The wife and I loved the premier. Laugh outloud moments throughout. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing at the kids in the car seats strapped in the back of the El Camino.

It was also nice to see Rubberband Man.

I thought it was good. I don't care for Jamie Pressley, so I'm glad they've got her in a role I can hate. Jason Lee was born for parts like this. :up:

For the last few years he's been concentrating on (no joke) skateboarding. He and a freidn made a company called Stereo Sound Systems.

Yeah he was. He went back to being semi-pro. In one of the 411VM DVDs he introduces the world to what he calls slipper skating. It was actually pretty funny. After whichever movie was his last one he said it just hit him one day, that he should start skating again. And he did.

Like I said in my previous post, I really dug it. I rewatched it with my girlfriend last night (who is a Jason Lee fan) and she didn't seem all that impressed. She thought it had potential though. Though she did enjoy the line that I was laughing about all night; the line about going and buying the guy a shirt at Express for men (they should have shown that in one of the flashbacks). Have to see if she likes the next episode.

I thought this was Tarable. The voice over, the tired jokes, the interminable (and overly complicated) set-up, feh. Took it off my season pass thingy.

I haven't been into most sitcoms lately. I do really like The Office (both versions) and laughed a lot at Kitchen Confidential (but probably largely because I love the book.) Haven't watched the Chris Rock show yet, but it's recorded.

I taped it since two things were already tivoed at that time Tuesday. Watched it last night. Suprisingly funny and one of my favorites of the season.
Offbeat and very un-situation comedy but like Arrested Development will it be above most people's heads???

Loved the dance scene at the end.

After watching the new Henry Winkler/Stockard Channing show (can't remember the name) and finding it horrible and the "How I met your Mother" pretty generic, it's good to see at least one show that is really laugh out loud funny for the new season.
I took Supernatural off Season Pass and Earl is replacing it.

Yea, that was what I was thinking as well.

Anyway, this show was hilarious. Loved the "a gay" thing. Suprised noone mentioned the Rob Base "It Takes Two" homage.

I guess this gets the nod for live watching over Amazing Race; the latter gets dvr'd
