Wow, that was an incredible episode; definitely something that you would never see on any Star Trek show, in terms of the real personal conflict and emotion. Though, my damn cable cut out when

She actually went stealth, turning off all lights and disappearing in the black. She reappeared with the Blackbird facing Apollo, the noses of the ships less than a few feet apart. Her re-appearance looked very cool. Then, it went to the scene back in the hanger with the dedication. So, now that they've built the prototype, think we'll see more Stealth Vipers in S3?

I was worried that after the whole President vs Adama arc resolved and they set for Earth, the quality of the shows would drop off. This episode was one of the best of the season.

Just one question...

What kind of bandwidth can meat Cylons get through their fiber interface?

And if cyclons have a fiber interface, why can't you detect them without having to do a blood test?

I'm sure they'll bring it up again, possibly with a faceoff between Adama and Baltar. The writers love reviving long-forgotten story elements.

That's good - I'm surprised it would be that early.

they're low on metal
so why not salvage all those shot up cylon ships?
stealth viper is kind of cool, but at the same time seems too much "Delta Flyer-ish"

Exactly how much light is going to penetrate an artery, and where the hell is it going to go? A dumb part of an otherwise great episode.

Hey, ever heard of nano-tech? maybe live cylons have nanos swimming in their blood? I mean, if they can communicate and "download" their conciousness, there must be some technology inside somewhere, right? it's not all flesh and bones!

Sharon sticking that wire into her arm was freaky looking.

Nice to see an ep. that shows just how much of a mental toll this chase is taking on people. Great scene at the end with everyone signing their name on the blackbird. I wonder if there's a possibility of a toy made in the future with the cast members signatures? Geek in me want!!
I wonder if the naming of the stealth is supposed to be indicative of the president's days coming to an end soon? One could say that it might be that shuttle that leads them Earth and not the actual Laura.

I thought it was a great episode.

Loved all the stories in the episode and the scene with the approching cylon ships well done.

Or at the very last capture another few so they can see how they tick like the one Starbuck had. I was amazed they just blew them all up. Also didn't the cylons mine the smae stuff they use for fuel on that one episode in season 1 so you think they'd want that too. Anyway bitching aside great episode and can't wait till next week.

You could argue they blew them all up in an effort to let the crew decompress a bit. I think the episode did a fine job of showing how everyone had been pushed to the breaking point. Shooting up a bunch of cylon raiders, even if it was a complete waste of ammunition (where are they going to resupply after all) would serve to provide a morale booster.

No, it's all season 2. they are just taking a hiatus until Jan-Feb when the remainder of the season will start up again.

Assuming there is a seaon 3 (I'm sure there will be), it will start in July of 2006.

In the past 2 or 3 years, SciFi channel has made a habit of splitting seasons in half, and giving each half a supposed "season premiere" and "season finale". In reality, BSG, SG1 and Atlantis are *all* approaching the season mid-point, and these fake "finales" are just a mid-season haitus.

Very cool ep. The preview for next week seemed a bit at odds with the Tivo description. Ah well.

3 months! D'oh!

According to SciFi.com the finale will run 2 minutes late... be sure to adjust the DVR.
