ESPN's Tilt - Canceled?

I see that Tilt is listed as a canceled series at The Futon Critic:

http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/sh...=all&status=10

It was a guilty pleasure of mine, and I'm curious as to whether anyone else has heard anything? Googling ESPN and Tilt turns up about a million poker-related websites.

Edit: Just found this article from June: http://www.allheadlinenews.com/cgi-b...238937692&fa=1

Though two different series programs have been canceled by the network "Tilt" and "Playmakers" -- both canned for dismal ratings...

Love poker and play way too much, but I had trouble watching it. I wouldn't mind ESPN sticking to sports (even movies) and staying out of series, personally.

I watched the whole series and it was merely average. ESPN needs to realize that people turn into their network for sports coverage. There are tens of other networks for dramatic TV series.

That's too bad. I actually enjoyed this series. Guess they should have ended with the alternate ending rather than the one they used then.

I liked the series as well though I watched it on DVD and never on ESPN. I doo don't look to ESPN for dramatic series.

Care to spoil it for me? I don't plan on buying the DVD set.

I thought this series was pretty good. Not as good as Playmakers, but Tilt did keep me real interested with all of the plot developments and Michael Madsen as such a great bad guy.
