WB's "Supernatural" to debut online before airing on television

The WB Television Network and Warner Bros. Television Production have partnered with Yahoo! Inc., a leading global Internet company, to provide a sneak-peek of the highly-anticipated new series, &ldquoSupernatural,” on Yahoo! TV. The “Supernatural” web cast will be available in its entirety on Yahoo! TV (http://tv.yahoo.com) to anyone in the United States with internet access for streaming beginning at 9:00 pm EST/6:00 pm PST on Tuesday, September 6th through Monday, September 12th. The show premieres on The WB at 9/8c on September 13th.

Unfortunately for me, it seems that this is only available to the US. I have been seeing good reviews for this show.

Probably a better timeslot for it.

It's up against House, The Amazing Race, The Office, My Name is Earl, and Commander-in-Chief.

I want to watch all of them so I'll have all D*Tivos running on both tuners that night. I'd even like to catch UPNs "Sex Love and Secrets" in that time slot.

I thought it was decent enough. Better than a few others I've seen that still have yet to premiere.

It appears the Series Premiere, at least according to my Tivo, is 67 minutes long. So, those who have a VCR need to pad it an extra 10 mins.

I noticed that too, but there are two replays of the pilot later on in the week that only run 60 min. I'm going to have to record the 2nd replay as the overlap creates conflicts with Rescue Me and Rockstar:INXS. I assume they're just loading the initial airing up with commercials and promos rather than cutting something out for the replays?

I tried watching the first couple of minutes of that streaming version & the quality is either tiny or big & blurry. Think I'd rather wait a week & watch in HD and 5.1 thank you.

Supernatural will also be airing on WB's Easyview on Sundays.

I'm disappointed it is so sitcom-heavy this year. I definitely would've loved to see Everwood in there since it's in such a loaded timeslot.

I wonder how this would look on a 55" RPTV if I could figure out how to hook my computer up to my tv.
ALthough I have a 19" monitor, I would rather watch it in my recliner

Judging from how it looked on a 17" in monitor, it would look like a Monet as seen through the bottom of a Coke bottle.

Was I the only one who laughed when they found out Jensen Eckles character was named Dean?

Anyways, I liked it and plan to tune in the future

I agree with you. Why on earth would anyone need to catch up on sitcoms? Are people really wndering how Reba began?

What a waste not to put a serial drama in those slots. That was how I first caught up with Gilmore Girls. I really think it looks like the WB is trying to kill Everwood this year.

For those thinking of waiting for the dvd, you may have to wait awhile. I imagine they'll have licensing issues with the music since they use a lot of big name artists during the episode.
