was it just me or did they drop the f-bomb? I was watching the HDTV feed (which BTW was definitely NOT HDTV for me, it was a cropped to 16x9 version of the SDTV feed, I was pretty pissed) and the the death row guy's son referred to "the guy that's she's f'ing"
I'd be suprised to hear that on FX but I was really shocked to hear it on Fox! I even rewound it a few times to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me.

It sounded like that to me too, but the kid actually say "the guy at Fox River."

really? Ok i must have just totally misheard it both times. I swear i need to start watching this show with the CC on. The lines by Michael's cell mate about
Spoiler:
not wanting him digging in the cell
made me rewind and check the CC. Maybe I need to just have it on all the time
Is it possible the HDTV feed had a different version played though? I swear I'm almost 100% sure he said what I initally posted now that I think about it.

Even if it was shaped like a cell phone, don't they know they should never drop the soap in prison?

I watched and recorded the HD feed, and the kid clearly says, "...that guy at Fox River."

Flashburn...I was trying to figure that out too and I realize that is one of the goons from 24 season 1 (who raped Jack's wife). I'm assuming you have seen that show too.

No. I thought that too. Good ol' Tivo. Definitely said Fox River.

Decent episode. Seems nearly impossible that the break is going to happen since everything is going wrong. But, i'll still be watching it every week.

Last week, the out-of-prison stuff was a bit boring. It's certainly getting more interesting now.

Anybody else think the real killer is
Spoiler:
the Vice President himself?
*

*That may of been noted by somebody last week and I missed it.

cool, I guess when you think someone said something you'll hear it that way even when you rewind
Did you notice the same problem with the HD feed; it being a zoomed to 16x9 version of the SDTV feed? I actually changed it to the SDTV feed after a few minutes because I'd rather watch it stretched than zoomed. It was disappointing too since there was a little flash on the screen about "HDTV brought to you by..". Seems like very few of the shows I watch are real HDTV.

It was in true HD where I'm at. Your local affiliate must have just messed it up.

I'm enjoying the series thus far, but I don't think they'll actually break out until the end of the season at the earliest. It confirmed it for me when the warden said that there was 1 month left till the execution. For dramatics, they prision break can't happen until the last moment.

Cardiff, I live in New England as well and it wasn't in HD for me either. I think the Fox 61 station forgot to "flip the switch" for HD. They did the same thing in June and nothing was in HD for about a month.

"Forgetting to flip the switch" is something that happens far too often. I wouldn't have my job if I forgot to do something so important on the regular basis it seems to happen on several of my affiliates.

i watched a brief part of the episode, and it was in full on hd! unfortunatly the replay of episode one (since it aired at 5pm on sun. because of ravens football on thursday) was the standard version with grey bars on the side. (Also, my dvr missed the first minute or so of the pilot. Can someone tell me what happened. My recording starts imediatly as the main character holding a hostage asked about "white castle" burgers.
